Last night, I was so sleepy, that after dinner and watching a bit of TV, I turned it off and went to sleep. It was 9:30 p.m., early for me. I wasn’t even able to watch my favorite soap. Before that my husband sent me a message that he will go home late because they will be having some beer drinking at his staff’s house, together with other office mates. I was so happy because at least I don’t have to wait for him anymore and get to complete my hours of sleep. For the first time , after so many years , I slept early. My usual sleeping time is 10:30 pm. And sometimes 11:00 past.

Well, i think when medicines that we used to take , would make us feel not good, if ever we withdraw from them. Maybe that's a natural reaction of medicines.

Well, at least Kalyni even if you would watch TV until the wee hours of the morning with professor, you still have time to catch up with the lost sleep, because you can sleep anytime the next day. That's what's nice about being retired. Just always pray for HIM to give you more more years to share the life with professor, but of course you also have to make an effort to stay healthy to be that. What's that that you are taking daily? Sleeping pill?

alprazolam is not sleeping pill, kind of stress reliever, the dr in Apollo hospital advised in 1980, he said it is not habit forming, but i find it is i can't sleep if i don't take

Yahhooo . . . I am so happy for you. Having a good sleep is so helpful for keeping a healthy life. You should this more often. Sleep is very important. I am also glad that your husband sent you a message you will not thinking or wondering what time will he be back. Another thing I am is that though you already know he will be late, you have decided to rest your body and call it a day. Maybe if i were you since I am used to that time I will watch more TV programs, go to myLot or do other things. Good you love your body.

I try to abide to the say, 'early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise'; well i don't know if it makes one wealthy or not i go to bed by 10pm most of the nights and get up at 5 am

Well, no need to be wealthy professor, because you are already. It's is good that you are able to sleep at 10pm already. At least you get to rise early and be able to see the beauty of the breaking dawn and perhaps do some walking. It seems that you and Kalyni have each a laptop, to respond to my discussions.

hi, my sleeping time usually on 12 midnight, maybe i already practiced it that is why my eyes will fall automatically when the time is in 12 midnight, but there were times that i slept so early especially when i am tired for the whole day,the earliest time that i slept before was 8pm and i was in the province during that time.

Wow, if i sleep at 12MN surely i will be yawning and lethargic at the office the next day. And that always happens to me whenever i sleep at even 11pm. I must agree that when your eyes is used to sleeping at the same time every night, it will always automatically close to sleep at that hour always.

Good for you! It's 3:45 a.m., in my place and sleep haven't come to me yet reason why I'm here commenting. I had a headache earlier and I had to close my eyes but when it's gone I cannot sleep anymore. My hubby and baby is sound asleep besides me but here I am still wide awake. I wish sleep will come to me now.

That also happens to me too sometimes. Hubby would already be snoring, while i am still wide awake. What i would do is read the bible, and after sometime i am already sleepy. Perhaps God wants me to read some passages in the bible, that's why he kept me awake.

I sleep around 11 every night. Sometimes need to be aware till 12 due to work. It feels nice when we get a little extra time to sleep because that relaxes us.

Oh thats great and good for you. You do have enough sleep by sleeping earlier this time around. This is what I am trying to do, to sleep earlier than the usual. I use to sleep around 11 to 12 pm every night but I am trying to make it earlier so I could have longer sleep.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is great to know that your husband did not turn up home early and that was really a good coincidence. i think sometimes this happens with most of us when we are so tired and exhausted that we sleep early then our usual time. I know u wanted to watch your favorite soap but then u were feelings sleepy early. May be that was the effect of too much of work at home that got u sleepy quite early. What say?

Actually, it's a result of sleep debt. I always sleep late at night , then wake up early to prepare for work, that's why i lack sleep. Now, it already caught me, so i felt so sleepy. It's good indeed that husband had his drinking session. But if ever he is home, he will surely let me sleep early when i will tell him i am that already.
