So time finally arrived. In less than two weeks the first part of"The Hobbit" is premiering in my town. I am a huge JRR Tolkien fan so after I watched Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings version and having already read the hobbit, I couldn't imagine of anything better than a movie of "The Hobbit". Someone heard my prayers apparently. Also, seeing that mr Peter Jackson is behind this new movie once again, I can't believe it is possible that anything will go wrong. Really can't wait to hit the theaters!

Oh, that is great indeed! I mean, I did know it was coming out, but hadn't realized it was coming out so soon!
I will definitely go see this one as well, I loved the first 3 movies, so hoping this will be similar, of course :)

Yep. I am pretty sure it will have alot of similarities. As they revisited the same places for the shooting. Like Rivendell for example. As far as I know , this one will complete in two movies. So it is going to be a duology, although there are some rumors that peter jackson will make a third movie that will be something like a bridge between the hobbit and the lord of the rings.

Yes, the trilogy Lord of the Rings was great and I think that the movie "The Hobbit" will rise at the same level if not even higher. Unfortunately I didn't had the oportunity to read the book, but I can't wait for the movie.

It's a good thing that you don't really have to read the book in order to watch the movie. In my experience, I found the hobbit a lot less complocated than lord of the rings. It has a more fairy tale element to it. Especially since yuo liked the lord of the rings trilogy, I can't see any possible way of not liking the hobbit as well. Especially since it's from the same director and with a lot of the same people involved.

I'm excited too! It's going to be SO good. I love the LOTRs trilogy, they're my favourite movies. And the books are equally just as awesome! ^_^
I think what Peter Jackson did with LOTRs is amazing. He put everything into that trilogy and so did the rest of the cast and crew. They became emotionally invested.
I hope The Hobbit is the same!

Totally agree. Even when Peter Jackson didn't follow the book exactly, his little touches were really good, in helping it adjust to the needs of a movie. I believe I read about him doing the same thing in the hobbit, so it is going to be really interesting to see how he is going to adapt the book into his movie this time. I'm sure it will be great.
