In my first year in thy university, there is a course known as general studies and it was being divided into two. one part talks about philosophy and logic but the point i wanna make here is about the part of philosophy when they talked about the two school of thought of life which are fatalism and determinism. the school thought that talk about fatalism believes that what will be will be and the school of thought that talk about determinism believes that we humans can make and choose what will be in in life pertaining to us but despite the lecture on these two school of thought, my mind have not being able to conclude on one of this school thought of the the most suitable one for we humans. pls palz! i need contributions on the better and more truthful one for we humans. thanks

I can't come down on the side of "what will be, will be" as I'm quite sure most of our life depends upon the course and choices we make.. and also choices others make.. I.e, I could be in an accident through no fault of my own, and be hit by a intoxicated driver.. My being hit is a direct result of the person choosing to drive while under the influence.. Also, if I had been paying closer attention, maybe, and that could be a large maybe, I could have avoided it by more defensive driving. Both are choices.
Yet, I do believe some things will be as they will be! I believe my husband and I were "meant" to be together! We grew up in different states, so perhaps my deciding to relocate was a big factor.. but somehow I believe I was meant to do that and also 'fated' (so to speak) to him.. So I guess, I would have to say it's a blend, but we are living in the land of choice and choosing.. what could be called free-will, yet free-will isn't 'free' will, or that is to say it's imperfectly so.
