Many may have read my other discussion about an ex friend now who got two unfixed females cats. He just gets animals, then when something goes wrong get rid of them, then gets a new one. He has had about 10 cats in the last 4 -6 months, he got this one kitten about 4 months, and he already had a female cat. Well many times when they are unfixed, they get very aggrassive, and territorial. This is what both them did, he texted me complaining in the middle of the night saying come get this cat. I just laughted, and didnt respond, he texted me all today, and I responded I already have 1 female, and she wouldnt like other females so I cant take it. I told him to phone the local Humane Society, but they are full to the max. I highly doubt he will learn, I;m sure this one will disappear, then another one comes in.

What the heck?? And you know that's not what I mean to say! Is he some kind of nut? Where does he get all these cats from? I hope not the shelters because if he does, you should report him so he isn't allowed to keep doing this. Can't you do something where no one would know it was you who reported him? That's horrible! You can't keep getting cats and then just let them go into the world...awful!!!

He has hit them, when his daughter torments them, and hits them then the cats attack her (which is exactly what should happen). He has had several cats in the last few months, he wont get them fixed so they obviously will be aggrassive.

That sounds horrible! You should report him to the humane society for abuse!

Well if he doesn't want them he shouldn't be getting them at all especially the way he treats the cats. I hope he learns someday what he is doing if not then i don't know what will happen next. Hopefully he can find a good home for the cat and not just dump it somewhere or do something horrible to it.

I agree, I hope he doesn't just dump it out in the cold. He just keeps getting them, wont get them fixed, and wonders why they act out, and attack his daughter that torments and beats them.

That is crazy that he does this. Like really. I mean it truly sounds like he shouldn't have any animals at all if he takes them in and once he gets tired of them he gets rid of them and then brings another one in. What does he do with them anyway, just drop them off somewhere and where is he getting the other cats from. I feel sorry for these cats that he keeps bringing in and then letting go.

This is something that really yanks my chain. You see, it is my feeling that when you open your home up to a pet, you understand that said pet will be a part of your life until the animal's life ends. I also do understand that sometimes that are circumstances that won't allow for you to be able to have a pet in your life any longer, but those are cases of relocation or something similar to that. This friend of yours that you are talking about should be told by the humane society that he has adopted too many pets and cannot accept another pet into his household at this time. I believe this would be the only way to teach such a person a lesson.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is really very funny of your ex friend and i know every time he complains about the pets he have and i know he will again get a new one once he gives his pet to someone else. As it is said that old habits die hard, his habit of getting new pets one after the other is very hard to handle. I think u should have said that when he is getting a new pet then his responsibility increases to take care of them every time. What say?

I have brought this up to him but he simple doesnt see that. Many of my friends have said well you handle 6 and wanting more. But I put most of my time into mine, and money but they dont understand that when they get their pets.

i think he hates the kitten so much and he is petrified to have them here and its really difficult for him to tolerate and adjust based on its needs.Just convince him to have the cat and it will be a good pet for longer duration like a stress buster also

People like that make me sick. Hitting the cat for whatever reason is just wrong. I think you just should tell him what you just told us about the aggression and not getting them fixed. But I have a feeling he is just the type to enjoy abuse something even if it's his own fault (sicko), so I am good with reporting him like someone else said. Where did he get the cats? He shouldn't have any kind of pet if he doesn't want to listen to anyone who knows more about cats than he does. The duaghter needs to be taught not to beat the animal as well, I can't believe some people like this actually exist in our society when there are simple solutions.
