A Dangerous Mind?

When I'm not talking, I'm thinking. (Of course) Sometimes, my mind is very dangerous of what comes across it. Now, I'm thinking of how I can better myself since I'm not working. When I am writing, or brainstorming, the thoughts come across as somewhat vivid, often times, out of the box. Is thinking things dangerous or when you actually put work into your thoughts, are they considered dangerous?

Only if you act upon them, just write them down, you'll be surprised at how your mind can work. I love writing, it gives me great pleasure to release the thoughts in my head. Some of them aren't nice but why deny yourself thought. If we really said what we were thinking then people wouldn't spend all this time trying to read us, they would know what we think and how we think, most importantly, they would know why we think the way we do. Write it down, its your mind, release it.

Our mind or our brain is really a magnificent computer that is full of thoughts and creativity. It depends how you manage your thoughts. You could have positive thoughts that can benefit the world. So when you have negative thoughts run through your mind, cancel it and divert to happy and good thoughts. Use it for creativity like Einstein, Pablo Picasso, Da Vincci or Bill Gates.

The thought process is part of the process so, yes, it could be dangerous. It depends on whether you go to the next step and then the next, etc. Do we have discipline over our thoughts and if so to what exstent?

It is dangerous when you think of dangerous thoughts. But if you have positive and well-meaning thoughts, you can even change the world or the lives of people with those lofty ideas of yours.

Hi Bluebell18, A mind that think negative thoughts will indeed reproduce bad actions. So why you need to think dangerous things when you can actually utilize your subconscious mind by thinking what best best move to do for the benefits of yourself and everybody around you. A mind is the center of the nervous system, and therefore, if you motivate yourself tho think good things well, good result will be the result of course. Never mind dangerous things so that your mind doesn't react of what your thought for. Just pay forward in all positive things in your life...Good luck!

Well, Firstly, I would like to know what you mean by the term "dangerous" in what sense do you mean this? Do you mean like revolutionary in some way or perhaps ill meaning? Second, I always like to refine myself by reading. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that our thoughts are the "right" or "best" ones, but I think thought that is really creative and profound comes from considering many different perspectives and schools of thought. So, as far as bettering yourself goes, I would suggest that you continue reading. If you've stumbled on something you feel is really profound in your brainstorming, try to follow that thread. Do some research and see what you find. You may be surprised at what you find. and you may even learn something that would require you to alter your thinking! Learn as much as you can from different perspectives, but don't immediately discount what you don't readily believe, or something that contrasts with your views. The challenge in learning is precisely this. Otherwise we end up engaging in self confirming behavior and that will hinder us in the end. Good Luck, in your intellectual travels!
