I tried to become a vegetarian once
But I like meat so much so that didn't last long. Besides the obvious, beef,
Lamb, goat, goose, venison, and turkey, I've tried some rarer meats. Here are a
Few:turtle, alligator,squirrel, armadillo,rabbit, balut ( boiled duck embryo), duck,
Shark, pigeon, dove, even pigeon. What's the strangest thing you've tried?

I think the weirdest food I have ever eaten was blackened alligator. It wasn't nasty tasting, but it wasn't white turkey either. I tried becoming vegan as well, but had to add some eggs back in the diet. I just missed them way to much. I don't miss steak or chicken, but I do miss turkey. I think my father in law use to pass squirrel off on me as chicken, but that's not really all that strange. It's just the idea of eating squirrel.

Lol. I mentioned in my first post that I've tried armadillo. It was curried. My dad passed it off as chicken. Have to admit it was good. That
Blackened alligator sounds interesting! I had alligator jerky while in Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. Good stuff.

Hey thx for responding. My whole thing is if you have something
For me to taste and it's prepared well I'm all for trying it. My aunt
Gave me one of those chocolate covered crickets once. I ate it but
If I remember correctly, it just tasted like sticks dipped in chocolate.
I'm always haPpy to try something distinct and delicious!
