What benefits you derive from Guest Posting?

Guest blogging is a strategy many bloggers follow to get maximum exposure for a blog. Both the parties, Author and Publisher are benefited from such kind of guest posting arrangement. It's an instant promotion for a blog when guest posts gets promoted through social media by the readers of the published blogs. I published some guest posts and really satisfied with the results. Also I published some guest posts in my blog. It can be said as an organic link building.

Hi, this is a really interesting post. I was just wondering if you could give us an idea of the benefit of guest blogging in numbers terms. For example, do you know the percentage increase in traffic, based on you guest blogging on another blog, and the percentage increase when you got someone else to guest blog for you? (Doesn't have to be an exact percentage, a rough idea will do!)

Looking at the analytic I could see how the keywords related to the posts being published in your blog generate traffic. It depends on the popularity of the blog you're getting published. The social network followers of the other blog will help promoting your posts.

I wish to do some guest blogging. I never have. How do you get involved with a blog in order to guest blog?
I think one of the biggest benefits to the guest blogger is, as you said, the exposure. Getting your name out as an expert in your field.

Guest posting in blog helps in mutual sharing of the traffic. Though I am not a regular blogger, I too posted some guest posts in other blogs. Because of our quality post, they gets some traffic and on the contrary we are also promoting our blog. Yeah, its a good strategy..
