Everyone of us surely thinks of different things, different concerns, different problems, different deadlines maybe, etc. etc. From all the things, we are experiencing right now. We know in our hearts that we have deepest desires. Desires, we wanted for years or maybe a lifetime for some.
My desire this Christmas, is for me to be able to accept the things I cannot change and the strength to change the things I can for good;). What is yours?

Sometimes, when you are into a financial dilemma or problems, or shall i say anything that a "money" can only solve, it would be practical. I think, kindness is still the most important;)... Without kindness, who will give you money right? lol.. Just kidding, wish you the best fox;)..

That's a great Christmas wish. It's from the Serenity Prayer, is it not? I think I'd like to let go of some negative baggage from the past that enters my thoughts sometimes. To change the things I can in that way, and live in a more positive way. Best wishes! :-)

For me, aside from material things, I really wish that my family will stay healthy and that we will never have problems with our health.

That's the most meaningful prayer of all. At the end of everything, family will be our number 1 priority. I also have same prayer like yours:)..

My Christmas wish? To be financially independent. To have my own house. To take care of my kids. I use to like that quote you mentioned when my mother brought it to my attention years ago, but these days I find false truth in it. I may be bitter, but I probably have good reason to be. When someone makes false accusations about you and your job performance causing you to lose your job, that is not something you can change. You can go to HR, but they often believe the people who have more seniority and they can't believe that person would do something so criminal. There are some things I can change that no one has control over except me, but there are other things that people can't change no matter how hard they try. You can only change yourself, your personality, and nothing else. You can choose to change your job, but if you're not wanted, they will find a way to get rid of you.

That's right. Change will always begin in us. The only thing we can change is our thoughts and our reactions to everything that's happening to us.:)..

Well, as for things, I don't think I really need anything. My family has supported me long enough, and I think I'll be going to college soon, given that I get better grades that will fit my transcending GPA over the past four years. My deepest concern is that our family will be able to carry the financial problems that will burden them within the next four years, as they will be paying the tuition of two college students which are both in (likely) a private university.
As for my deepest desire, I hope that the United States economy will recover from its current situation, regardless of which party is currently in the government.

I have a good feeling every Christmas and I try to do what is good. The thing is some people are hostile to me nowadays and this makes me sad at times. I think I would have the same desires as yours "to accept things I cannot change and the strength to change the things I can for good. "
Have a Blessed Christmas in advance!
