Some people love to do some type of exercise regularly. Every now and then I get into a routine of starting some type of exercise. Gradually though something comes up, or I just don't feel like exercising. I'm hoping though that I will be able to get back into the routine of walking either outside or inside some time soon after things calm down. I have an exercise video that I like but it's packed away in some box from our move.

I am not really into exercising, coz when i just think of that word makes me get tired. ahaha well yes just walking around is a form of exercise but somehow we feel lazy of that thought and at the end of the day we just feel like quitting.

I know exactly what you mean. Exercising can be really tiresome. I know what you mean. I do often times feel like quitting afterward. I'm hoping that I can start a routine of walking that doesn't make me really tired like other exercising activities.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy exercising. I'm hoping to be able to continue with my walking and hopefully I can find my exercise video that is packed somewhere from us moving. I'm though working on eating more fruits and vegetables. I'm trying to limit my red meat intake as well as junk food. It's working on good so far and I'm looking forward to doing better.

I like fast paced dancing, swimming, cycling, walking and the gym. I walk as fast as possible because it is healthy exercise. I suggest building up exercise as you can manage. Your exercise video sounds like fun. I hope that you begin to enjoy exercising soon.

Yeah it is nice when you have a lot of different activities to choose from. I will have to keep working on it. The last few days that the weather wasn't so cold my daughter and I went for a walk. I have been reading that it is beneficial to walk at a fast pace for 45 minutes a day. That this keeps you in shape and also helps you to lose weight.

I like the feeling after exercising and taking a soothing bath. After that my body feels light and comfortable. It's too bad I don't have someone to exercise with. It gets boring quick when you exercise alone.
I've done hip hop, aerobics, zumba, aikido and hula hoop. Sometimes I watch videos online and follow the dance moves. Those were fun. But I'm still fat LOL

lol I know exactly what you mean. I would like to get back in shape as well. It is so hard. Especially like you said exercising does start to get boring by yourself. But I know I need to try working on it some way. I really do need to get my weight back down and tone up. It's easier said than done thoughthough.

I think if you just push yourself to do exercise may be it will not last long because you will feel boring sooner or later,so why not just take one of your hobby as your exercise routine?
Just like me I like to play basketball very much so I will play it in weekend and when I have time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it. I wish I had a hobby that would allow me to exercise more. Unfortunately I'm not much into any kind of sports. Hopefully though I will be able to get some type of routine going for exercising.

If you can't find the time have to hit the gym and you don't want to purchase expensive exercise machines, get more physical with your everyday housework to strengthen and tone your body.
House work is a great way to burn calories. But as is the case with any workout, the more effort you put in, the greater the benefit. Bending and stretching, for example, when you make the bed, wash windows or do the laundry are good for toning thighs and improving flexibility. And constantly running up and down the stairs as you tidy is a good aerobic workout.

Thanks. I never really gave that much thought but that is true. I will have to try and remember this when I'm doing things around the house. I hope that I can get back in shape and feel better about myself. I think I my daughter and I might go for a walk today if it is not raining outside. Walks are nice and gets us out of the house as well.

I hate it especially when I have no company to do it with . I try to do it and I always fail to keep up , I will probably go for 3 weeks per year then thats it . I only do it for 15 minutes and then I keep thinking I have better things to do lol and stop ...
I dont know how people do it , every single day but its not my thing . I get enough exercise in other activities

I completely agree with you. I have some friends who exercise every day for like the last 11 years. I don't know how my friend does it. I guess for her it is something she really enjoys and she is very conscientious about her weight and health.
I though just always have something better to do instead of exercising. I'm planning to order a kids exercise video that my daughter and I can do together. That way she and I both are getting a little exercise in each day since the weather is getting cold.

Weill, I will not do exercises as I want to do exercises. Everday in evening I will play Basketball. I think it is the greatest exrcises that I can get. Because while playing I feel all my muscles are getting movement. Apart from it I get a lot of relaxation to my mind also. In my opinion, not only Basketball but also all kinds of sports and games will give you this kind of exerciseto your body and if you are doing that you will get a lot enjoyment from that too.

Yeah I agree with you doing some type of exercise like that is good. It's nice to be able to do exercise that we enjoy. Many people enjoy a variety of sports and are able to get exercise in and have fun at the same time. It's a win win situation.

I'm glad to hear that your husband keeps in shape. I understand what you mean though about not having the time. That is often times how I feel.I hope that I will be able to buy out the time from other activities in order to at least get a little exercise in. It seems though that I'm always busy.

I have almost the same experience as you! Whenever I first start exercising again, I get full of high expectations for myself, exercise regularly, and do well for a few weeks...until something disrupts the schedule. I think that best way to fight it is to just try to do something active whenever I can instead of trying to get the right circumstances.

Yeah I understand what you mean. Being a mom is a lot of work. That is one reason I have not been able to get into a good routine of exercising. My daughter is a year and a half and she keeps me busy.I hope though that I can figure something out to where I can get some exercise in.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy gardening. Gardening is a very good form of exercise. I don't have a garden but I have read how good it is for our health to garden. I also like to take my daughter for walks outside to get some air. It can be a little taxing to be in the house all day.

I just do push-ups in home, and that too in the floor. But I can't do it regularly, because sometimes I feel lazy and it gets discontinued for like 3 or 4 days and when I do it again, the next day I am just unable to do coz of arm pain.

Yeah when you do exercises like that we really do feel how our muscles have been worked. I hope that I will be able to do some type of exercise a little bit each day. Every little bit helps and I know that it would go well with my trying to eat healthy.

I just started exercising, just weeks ago. I just had to because I got conscious about my figure. Yes, it's a bit vain, but on the good side, I'm becoming healthy as well. Though seeing exercise as being enjoyable has yet to really sink in. Since I enjoy just sitting around almost all day. I try to make it fun, like finding someone to jog or workout with me or listening to my favorite dance beats and just feel the rhythm. And I always make myself think, that exercising is as important as eating and day dream the joys of being fit. I hope eventually my brain and body get's used to exercising and thinks it needs to do it everyday.

It's a good thing for us to want to look good and be in shape. It is healthy for us. Most of the day I'm at home working online and spending time with my daughter. My husband has to take the car to work so going anywhere is usually out of the question. It is also good to think about how important exercise is.
I too hope that you will be able to reach your goals like you want. I'm slowly on my way to reaching my goal. I'm hoping that soon I will start seeing the results. It helps a great deal when we are able to notice the difference.

Yes, I like exercizing very much. Jogging is my favorite way. Every evening, when I get back home from work early enough, I go out to the park near my house and go jogging. That is a way of getting refreshed too, after a long day at work.

Well, when the word "exercise" comes into my mind, I imagine aching muscles, a profusely sweating man trying to breathe, and the intense odor coming from the man. Not quite the pleasant thought to me, though I think exercising is just about average.
On occasion that the weather is favorable, I would walk three miles from school to home for a brief period of isolation. Sometimes it's great to be alone (as an introvert), because you could actually hear yourself think instead of expecting yourself to think in a crowd of people on different set of transportation.
Not to mention that there is also nature and a great atmosphere around our suburban neighborhood, though I guess that's a personal plus for me.

Yeah I agree that walking is good. I enjoy walking. As it does help us to think about our life and whatever maybe going on in it. It can be hard to carry on a conversation with others when we have so much going on in our own mind. I can't wait until the weather gets warmer again so that I can go for more walks.
