Are you so insecure?

I think I'm starting to realize, that I am insecure about myself. I tend to compare myself with others, that I know are better than me. And I easily get so jealous when someone talks to an acquaintance of mine, and gets a more fun and friendlier treatment than me. I feel, kind of stupid being this way, and I'm not sure on how to get over it.
