is the souvenir just for your sister or for all the guests who will attend your sister's wedding party? i think some people here have different understanding about this souvenir. but i know what you mean cos we live in same country so i know the habit people in our country do in a weding party. but i should ask about this, yeah..who knows two people above me are the correct ones. lol.
if you want to give the souvenir just fgor your sister, a set of bed sheet and bed cover will make her very happy and of course it will be very useful for a new couple who just started their life. or maybe a beautiful pictures album to keep her wedding pictures. or a fancy clock. or batik fabric for her and her husband so your sister can wear couple clothes someday. it must be fun. but if the souvenir is for all the guests, i think whatever you souvenir is, it will be very useful for the guests. some of people in our place give us cake in a fancy mini bowls as their wedding souvenirs. or some of them give us nail cutter, fan or even just a pouch. im always happy to receive it so i think guests in your place also have same feeling like i do..good luck..! :)

Hi huma
I meant the souvenir for the guest
I forgot that the member in my lot have a different culture just like us
No wonder there is some missunderstanding here
nail cutter and other things that you had mention is not unique enough since many couples had make it as their souvenir
Wish I can find another idea, Thanks

i know something that most people would not throw away, or stash away - a book of 'Surah Yassin', or CD of Quran Recitals, or Car Accessories with Surah on them... but you have be extra careful how you store them + distribute them to the guests - it is Quran, anyway... OR.... CD of Zikir / Nasyid..
Good luck...

Hi ifa
I am unsure whether your sister is already married or is going to get married soon. Based on that I have an idea. If she is getting married soon, you can get her a collection of photographs of the times that you two sisters spent together - something which is unique and always will remain too personal to her.
And if she is married, you can try to collect some photographs which you might have taken after their marriage.
Such collections are always so very personal and filled with love. Agreed, they are not costly but then, love is priceless. And such gifts are still unique as no one bothers about the photographs much.

I can personally tell you something practical and effect sperd that I will not even cost you.
You can do them some souvenirs from pigeons to nose at The Little leaf on which to write the names of the bride and groom.
I guess pigeons souvenirs will find some store and you can take for each as.
good luck hope I helped you with this idea and lots of fun.

hi ifa225 :)
My brother recently gave my mother a gift for her birthday which I think can be a good wedding souvenir. It's a plain mug but when you pour hot water in it images appear. My brother chose a collection of photos of the celebrator during her younger days. For a wedding souvenir, photo of the couple would be an interesting piece.
I don't know how it's done though because he just ordered the mugs from a souvenir shop.
Hope this helped you :)

A little bottle with white sand in it. The white sand inside the bottle must came from a very popular island in the world or at least within your country as long as it is so popular. I have a classmate that used that kind of giveaways.
