West Brom's incredible start to the EPL was yesterday dealt a body blow by the division's most boring, yet defensively, effective side - Stoke City. Do you think that their confidence will be knocked by yesterday's home defeat, or can Steve Clarke pick them up to resume service as usual? Should we give some credit to Stoke, despite their physical,defensive/negative style of play?

Stoke were playing away at a side that had won 6 out of 7 games at home by playing attacking football. Stoke outplayed them and thouroughly deserved their win making it 13 out of a possible 15 points from their last 5 games.
Stoke should definately receive credit.

Stoke are certainly a solid unit -if boring to watch. I think Steve Clarke helped their cause by ringing no fewer than six changes in the West Brom line-up.If it ain't broke-don't fix it Clarkey!
