Liverpool managed to pip Southampton by 1-0 yesterday despite enjoying one-way traffic. They have serious trouble trying to find the net when Suarez is slightly off-song. Carroll has gone, and there are no real out and out strikers at Anfield. Rodgers needs a back-up marksman ASAP.

I think as far as goal scoring is concerned, Suarez has been the sole flag bearer for Liverpool this season. I think the problem is that others are injured and Carrol has been packed off. I think there might be some action on this front during the January Transfer Window.
Cheers!

I think they were foolish to leave themselves so short and exposed in the striker department. They will suffer if/when Suarez is suspended/injured. This was bad planning by Rodgers and he can only have himself to blame.

They deffately need back up for Suarez. We will see how much in their next match when Suarez serves his ban.

Yes, that will be interesting. He seems to be their only striking hope at the moment.
