Another case for goal-line technology was raised yesterday when Robin Van Persie's shot against Reading clearly crossed the line on television camera evidence. Of course, the most clear cut case of a disallowed goal was Frank Lampard's goal against Germany a few years ago -which would have made it 2-2 at half-time and arguably altered the course of the game. Surely,in this hi-tech age this could, and certainly SHOULD,be introduced NOW!

The good news is that Goal Line technology is finally going to be tried out. In the upcoming FIFA World Club Championship this is being tried out. Two goal line technologies are going to be tried out. One is the Hawk-Eye technology which is already used in cricket. And the other is Goal-Ref technology. Let's see the outcome of this trial.
Cheers!

It is about time that it was introduced. It cost a team the title or get one relegated.
