I don't know but for me I consider shopping as one way to get rid of stress. I just feel good when I bought something I really like or sometimes things I really don't need much. I know it sounds funny. But I'm just happy to shop. Sometimes I just can feel I wanna go to mall or store and buy something. But sometimes too being at the mall is good enough to feel good. Me and my husband loves to go to malls whenever we are together. It's our favorite hangout too. Is there anyone of you feel shopping as a stress buster? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yes, I feel the same way. Shopping has been the most effective way for me to unwind and release the stress that i have, be it from work or from the people around me. Getting myself a new pair of pants or new shoes makes me feel better about myself and towards the people around me.

Good one and i completely agree with you shopping for our self is like pampering our self and it helps us to relieve stress. I think everyone should do this when upset about anything .

Hi friend, i too heard that some persons will get rid from stress and depression by doing shopping, so i think your idea is not a wrong one. Surely we will forget about our tensions and worries while shopping, so it is a good way to come out from tensions and stress

Yes, I agree, it does the same thing for me. But like you said, it doesn't have to be a big purchase or anything, something small does the same trick as well.
But I can't always be shopping when I get stressed, due to lack of time and such, but if I can, I definitely try to, especially if I am very, very stressed.

I agree shopping is a stress buster. our mind gets diverted to the things and we feel relax and happy. I do follow that . I like to go shopping every month or when ever possible. It fills us with new energy.

Glad to hear you have a husband who loves to hangout at malls. Consider yourself very lucky. My husband's method of shopping is 'find the item as quickly as possible and quickly pay for it and leave' he does not like to browse.
I don't consider shopping to be stress free, when I actually get home and go through the items that I have bought and see how well they do fit into my home and lifestyle, then that is when I feel relaxed and stress-free.
I find that I enjoy shopping online, in the comfort of my home, to be the most stress-free way of shopping.
