do you eat your lipstick?

Back in the day I didn't think about this issue. I ate without any thought of the possibility of eating my lipstick. It's only lately that I have become conscious, seeing to it that my lipstick does not go to the food I am eating. You see, we women wear lipstick throughout the day. We even do retouches from time to time because the lipstick wears off after eating. Yesterday, after biting into my hamburger I noticed my lipstick getting into the bread so I had to remove the part with the lipstick. I was doing this after every bite. In getting a drink, I always ask for straw so I don't drink my lipstick.
Do you do this too? Or do you just eat and eat without worrying?

I have never been a fan of lipstick, I just don't like the way it looks on me. I have worn it once or twice, and I feel it makes my face look really pale. I think I'm pale enough without the help of lipstick. Yes, I guess if you are wearing lipstick it might get on your food, better wipe it off the food, because you don't want to ingest those chemicals. After a period of time they could add up. Using a straw is a great way to keep the lipstick off your bottles and cups, but they do cause bloating. Great topic, thanks for posting.

No ya it doesn't taste good.we can feel it when it touches our tongue sometimes. haha so finally you ate it. Good experience. I think its better to wear a lip gloss or a lip balm rather than lipstick.

Good thing that I'm not one who wears lipstick. I just don't like the feel of lipstick on my lips. And further, I've heard that some brands put too much lead in their lipsticks. So be careful when you eat. You might be eating lead too. Perhaps it's best to wipe off your lipstick before you eat and then re-apply after you've finished eating.
