I found a free wifi connection

It may be that everything was just right for you to get a free connection today. I have to take my Virgin Mobile stick to work if I want to access the internet. I may eventually do it, but right now I do not have the money to load it, so I am waiting until closer to my trip to Minnesota.

Sounds good but be careful if you are using another persons wifi. It's fine if you can link to a connection from McDonalds, a hotel or similar business but you could get into big trouble if a private residence found out you were using their wifi connection. Most non-smartphones already have an internet connection regardless of wifi. It is when you get a smart phone that you need to buy data packages in order to use internet.

Thats awesome. You might be lucky today or someone might be working close by that has a mobile hotspot on their phone turned on. i have a blackberry playbook and love it...i use it for facebook and internet browsing, for a few games, email, i have it connected to my blackberry so i can see my texts and messages on there as well. I also usually use my cell's internet package for internet use when i'm not at home. That way if its at work my internet usage is work only not work with personal interspersed on the work internet.Anything personal goes through my cell package.

I used to use my phone for a few minutes when no one was there, but I always went to places where the cameras didn't point. I was the only one at the front end so I couldn't do it for long. Now the pants I wear doesn't have pockets so my phone gets kept with my coat. Glad you were able to get a connection though, perhaps someone new (and nearby) got internet recently? lol

hi, it will be a great one if we found a free WiFi connection because we can surf internet freely,i wish that i could found a unsecured or free WiFi connection at home so that i could still participate here in mylot and other social network that i have.

That is great that you are able to do some mylotting while you are on the clock. But, I definitely have to say that it is something that I wouldn't make a habit of doing. With that said, I have definitely noticed that there are a lot of times that we are able to connect to a wifi connection when we don't think that there will be one available. My husband recently discovered that they are able to pick up the free wifi that they have in downtown of our city from his place of employment.

Lucky you! Try it again tomorrow and see if it works. I can only do Mylotting at home since I have to work in the morning. Like tonight, I'm so drained that I can barely open my eyes anymore. I'm going to respond to very little discussions then have a shut eye. I'll do more Mylotting at home tomorrow.

Well, lucky for you you got a connection... A lot of establishments here in our country has wi-fi's... I think it's already a necessity that if you open a commercial establishments, it should a wi-fi... But in your case.. You are at work... Is it necessary in your work place that you have a wi-fi connection???

Yes, you are lucky today. But be careful as with a insecured connection your login passwords might get compromised. Beware of the hacker. You are good browsing websites but in my opinion do not use internet banking or other sensitive data over the free wifi. Anyways it's often very good to find free wifi connections. For me i download stuff and videos over free wi-fi connections. But beware of the aforementioned fact. Enjoy.
