Oh yes this morning for the first time my little man laughed at me. I was talking to him like normal just trying to keep him happy. He was smiling like he has been for weeks. I was lightly running my fingers over him pretending to kind of tickle his little tummy and chin and he let out a big laugh for his little body. It was so cute it made my day hearing his sweet little laugh. The same kind of laugh as his big sister does when you are tickling her. Them going throw there first always make me so happy when I get to be a part of them. Now there daddy will be sad that he missed hearing the little guys laugh but that is okay he'll get him soon enough.

It makes us feel good whenever we hear the children's laughter. It is somewhat a fulfillment on the parent's part that would mean that the kids are okay and that they feel the love and care of all the people that surrounds them.

I don't think that a baby could actually laugh if he is feeling bad. He would be grumpy and crying most of the time.

My son has been sick for a week and he still laughs. You don't need to feel good to laugh at things or to think something is funny. Baby's have odd little humors.

A baby laughing doesn't mean they are are okay. It does tell you that they think you are something is funny or they are happy.

It is always the sweetest thing when our children are making new milestones in their lives. I think that it is sweet that your son laughed out loud for the first time and I have to say that it is things like that which really make me wish that my children were still really small like that. Instead, my daughter just celebrated her 10th birthday yesterday, so I'm at the stage where I get to deal with her moodiness all the time.

Yeah my daughter is starting to go throw the two stage of life so she isn't so fun to be around some times. It is very nice to watch him and his cousins learn new things all of the time.

My kiddo took forever to laugh, so I'm glad yours did it so soon. It's an awesome sound once you do get it, though.
