Well , i just crossed the $200 in online earnings for the month of NOV. and it required some odd hours and pressure. of course it was not earned with PTCs PTS or affiliate marketing or referring, most of it was earned by writing short 400 word articles. assignments i mostly got from bidding on them at freelancer site.some of the jobs were just typing or data entry, and even mylot has posted some similar task here that lotters can apply for.
one thing i am reminded of is that if we wish to earn online without investing money , the effort is more gruelling, but worthwhhile.
Another thing that mylotters who are looking to earn online, take note that focusing on an area and not be distracted is more important than it sounds. by that i mean, once you have decided how and where you want to earn, stick with the plan. so many distractions in the form of other money making opportunities, that everytime you logged online and start surfing, you will keep coming across them. and if
try to check out as many as you can, like (,this is interesting ,hey i can do that, this site looks prommising,,,think i can make money like that also) ,before you know it you may end up with so many possibilities that you have lost your focus,it is what happened to me the 1st time around, not anymore..nope i m going to stick with my guns this time and just stay true to only article writing and nothing else..

We are already in December . I agree with you that a little hard work and focus in the right direction can provide really good results. I just earned $25 in Amazon gift cards today for 10 minutes worth of video reviews(not bad if you ask me).

Hi bryan, have you earned 200 dollars in a month and more importantly have you been earning that amount during previous months as well? Article writing no doubt provides an excellent source of income.I have been writing for Triond ( bad earnings ),Knoji which is probably the best there is, and expertscolumn and a couple of other sites meant for Indians...all the best to you and happy mylotting

my goal is to actually get to a point somewhere in the future where even when i m not doing much my articles i submitted will still get me some passive income, to do that ,i figures i will need at least a few hundred to few thousand articles online that can do that , and i have a long long way to go since i am just starting out,at last count i have only about 100 articles , meanime i supplement my income with writing articles for others that pay me about 1,50 to 4 per 500 words, or just get a typing job ,no need to think so much just copy and type or just copy and paste, 30 bucks a job isnt too bad, which is the minimum bid allowed.

Congrats and good thinking!! Can I ask which sites you write for...I have written for Helium and Yahoo Voices (used to be Associated Content) and made money, but I am not as dedicated as you. I need to find time to write more because I do enjoy my finished products..
Continued success to you!!

bryanwmc ..Thanks for your comments..you have some good ideas. I still am working on developing my writing skills. I feel I have a lot to learn. I researched a little, but never quite understood how SEO works or how to use key words
I think it will take more time and effort. I would like to devote more time to writing and that will be my new project.
I will print out and check out your suggestions and see what I can do. Forming a team sounds interesting and could work out... I bet there are many who would be interested..see already jenneyvonne responded!! Stay in touch..

I don't undertand how the Mylot tasks work and all the rest you write here. I am at freelancer as well but I have nothing to show! So who would ask me to translate into Dutch, for instance?

It's good advice to focus. I used to try to do a lot of different sites and a lot of different offline things to make money, and while it was good because if anything didn't work out, I had a lot of other options, it also, I think, slowed me down and made it hard to get anything done.
Right now I'm focussing on offline things, but I think next year I am going to do article writing during the summer - I've had success making money writing articles in the past, but I can't do a lot of it during the school year because I teach.

you should, teachers have so much potential material to work with, many people love to read bout kids in schools and if presented engagingly, you will have a lot of followers.maaybe you ought to keep a note on ideas you want to write about that you think is a cute anecdote before it slips your mind and when you eventually get bck to writing you can share it online with people like me who just like to read about quaint or normal things

THink the reason you feel that way is probably it strikes a note with you and many others in the my lot community, a large proportion of them are in one way on another earning online, myself included and some of them use one or two programs and many actually earn by a combination of dozens of online programs

Congratulations! I can tell you are really good in what you are doing and enjoying it at the same time. Doing what you enjoy is really important since focusing only on earning money seems like pushing yourself and will tire you easily. Your post is really inspiring. I will try to do better this month, I love doing small tasks and will focus more on this and see if my monthly extra earning will improve drastically. Happy mylotting!

You just made my day, thank you..i was basically airing a grievance i have had for some time because of not being focused on one task and all over the place trying to earn and it turned out to be counterproductive. It feels good to know that by sharing, i may have opened some eyes and gotten them to think along another perspective which was there all along but not realised

I cngratulate you for your earnings. I found that this idea of focusing is worth thinking abnout. We take more work than what we can do many times. Are those sites international? I don`t live in the US so there are several ways of earning that are not available for me.

I am interested din the team up. However, I don't exactly know how bidding sites work. I think that you have to bid low so that you can get the job. Also, I am pretty such there are also scammers in there.

You are right , there are scammers there, that is why at freelancer when i win any bid i will not start work until my request for a milestone payment is made, a guarantee that i will be paid. money is place with the freelancer site and when 50% is done , they release the payment, also minimum amount for bidding is $30, so if chosen that is what we will be sure to be getting, and then if enmployer likes your work, can continue with private emailing if trust is made or cotinue on freelancer payment and all.

frankly speaking, it is still very far off my target of eventually being able to generate about 1 k a month so i have given myself a year and a half to get there, and thats is why i want to focus on only writing and learn all i can about this so that i will eventually be familiar enough to figure out how this niche works and all the aspects related to it

Hey Bryan,
Thanks for the advice. I need to do more focus, focus, focus. That's good at what you do and how you do it. I am a member of some writing sites. My problem is just finding some good topics on writing without sounding jaded.

here is an idea for you, cheat a little , meaning , sometimes i just browse through article sites during my dry spells, can't think of anything to write about , so there are thousands of articles, pick a topic close to your heart ,if you like it and can relate to it, copy paste then rewrite the whole thing in your own words using the article as a template or a guide as to the flow. That is what i do sometimes and i'd have you know that a few dozen of such articles by me have been published by article sites giving me full credit, just need to vlear copyscape, although i feel sheepish about it but what the heck!

This was now so encouraging! I have also written short stories for a site (200-400 words) but I just cannot earn.... Now I discovered that other content writers on that same site rate your work, and they do not have to give you a point if they do not want to. May I ask to which site did you send your short stories to? I was really focused, but feel discouraged by not earning after forwarding so many good stories.....

I wish I have the focus that you have. In my case, I do not earn that much because O have a full time work but I am thinking to resign so I think I should follow your tips to get a high earnings. You motivate me, in fairness.
