I have always told and taught my kids that they can be anything they want to be and I will stand behind them 100% no matter what. However I dont want to be the type of person or parent that tells their child they need to become this or do that because of some unfilled dream or because I think that's what they should do. I want them to do what ever their dreams are I just want them to be successful and happy. My oldest ever since she was young and before I got into teaching seriuosly has always talked about wanting to be a teacher. Even when she was in the first grade she would always help her classmate with reading or what ever. Tonight as I was fixing supper my youngest son was finishing up on his school work and madison came into the kitchen and said mom can I help bobby with his work and I told her yes and they were sitting at the kitchen table and I was listening to her explaining something to him and I just smiled and laughed. If she does become a teacher when she is older she will be an excellent.

OH usually first grade or grade school kids love becoming a teacher. this is an influence by pleasant experiences brought about effective teachers in the lower grades. so, children would like to become like "her or him" . But then maybe it runs in the blood to. Remember the family of doctors. Family of politicians.. FAmily of teachers. Maybe she wants to become like you. You are fortunate to have her beside you... she's a help and sometimes, the kids understand from other children's explanation. Nice of this from you...

As the saying goes."Be who you want your children to be, because they end up being just like you." That's awesome your children have aspirations to do something my children are much younger barely talking but I believe every parents wants that for their kids.
