I will say that when I needed to read back in school/college
I did but I just never got to the point that I loved it..
I can now start reading a book but now my attention span it
0-0 and I just can't seem to really get into a book like just
like that...
I have even started reading very good books but once I lay it
down,,,thats it... I do read the newspaper but just have an
issue sticking with a book..
How about you????

I am not such an avid reader, but when I start a book, I finish it in almost all cases. Unless it is a complete trash. I do my selection before starting a book, so not finishing one is rarely the case here.

I really enjoy reading a book. I usually have the habit of bringing a book with me, wherever I go. Even if I know I may not get a chance to read, I still have an urge to bring a book with me. I've just always enjoyed reading, ever since I was a kid. Reading is just something that I've done for a long time.

BJ, i am always like to read story books. Since from young, i am always interested to spend my time into reading. My home was full with story books of many genres. Even there are lots of magazines laying in my cupboard. Just recently, since i bought another new cellphone i had started to read stories from my cellphone. I just need to download them and keep in my cellphone. I can read them anytime and anywhere as i like. It is really interesting to embrace the new technology in our hand. I don't have to worry about space to keep my story books anymore.

I am an avid reader. Since childhood, my parents instilled in my mind to read and read and read. They say it is the best way to train my mind and get good and wise information. And yes, I see that what they told me is true.Sometimes, I'd rather read the book that watching it in movies and i will understand it more.

I can say, i am not an avid reader, if i am just in the mood and if i just like the story of the book, yes i will read it. I admired those who read thick leaf-english books because they could just finished it in just one seating!!!

I like to read. I started to list down all the books that I've been reading this year. My goal was to read one book per month and so far I am passed my limit.
My list of books include I am Number Four, Power of Six, Rise of Nine, Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, John Maxwell's, Archie Comics, and a whole lot more. My favorite book will still be the Bible. It's nice to ponder on God's word.
I suggest you find a book that you really like. You may start with comics because it includes both texts and graphics so it wouldn't be boring.

I bring a book with me whenever i leave the house... so that if i can't help but wait during an appointment... i won't get bored because i have a book to read... i love to read... but i just don't have the time when i am at home because i need to do chores and take care of my baby... unlike before when i can do this whenever and where ever i want to...

I read all the time. I am always reading, wherever I go, I bring a book. I read in the doctors' office all the time, when I go. I read at home. I go through about two or three books a week. And I have about 4,000 books at home to choose from.

I am not really an avid reader, and I do not read novels or books just for fun but I am forced to read very thick books since I am in school so I don't have a choice.

We do go through different stages in life. There are times when we can focus on a long novel and other times, when we can only focus on flipping through a magazine. It is perfectly normal. Perhaps you enjoy other things in life, rather than reading. Some people prefer watching a good movie rather than reading a good book. Everyone is a little different and that is perfectly normal. Find what you do enjoy and relax, enjoy what you do enjoy!

said what you said like you said it...
Thanks so much for your feedback because you surely nailted me
to a "T"...thats me..I don't read but I certainly enjoy my days/
weeks/months with reading a book..
I knew I was normal. but just to hear someone else saying it just
based on me being human...thanks thanks thanks...I am one who believes
"it is what it is"...
have a great week...

Very very avid reader. way back when Hardy Boy days and nancy drew dominates the library. And now I can't go a day without reading something. I like reading a series because that way what im reading won't abruptly end. Im like a food taster when it comes to books. I love savoring my book and tasting its delicious sweetness...ok I'll stop now. haha. But still I can't without a book we're inseparable.

I have always been an avid reader ever since I was a child. Books always allowed me a form of escapism I craved and I always thoroughly enjoyed losing myself in stories that were not my own. I think the reason so many people tend to abandon books they are assigned for school is simply because they are not interested. This is unfortunate however, and can turn people off from reading but that's simply not true. There are so many books span across a variety of subjects and genres that certainly most everyone could find books they would enjoy. I think reading is slowly dwindling out as a pastime and I would love to see more people reading!

yeah.. i freaking love reading since I fell into school, especially when I got into college. My professors have told us always to read everything - books, magazines, newspapers, and even blogs. we have to read in order to inject lots of information on our mind. I love interesting books such as philosophy, a lil bit of psychology and even trivias on blogs.
