Lately, I've been busy making patterns for my children's pajamas and my husband. So far, I finished sewing the three pajamas. My kids wear it every night and so is my husband. Now, one of my friend came by and she saw me busy sewing and to my surprise she ordered one pair of pajama, curtains and a bag... Well, I am sure, I can make her a pajama and curtain but I am nor sure for the bag...

You know sewing is really one thing I love to learn but I'm really having a hard time learning it. I even enrolled in a basic sewing class before because it was offered here and you can finish the course in two months. I didn't finish that because I got so frustrated when we did the collar and sleeves. I just can't complete the whole thing my cloth got torn already with all the unstitching and re-sewing. I didn't attend that class anymore but you know I still plan to learn it, I just need to have more patience. It's nice that you can sew for your kids and husband, I really wish I could do that too. Who knows you'll get more orders once other people know that you have the skill.

You just need more patience in sewing. I learned sewing when I was in second year high school, way back in 1991. One of our subject offered this trade just for one month. Me and my classmates passed our project but after they just forgot. In my part, I continued learning even though, I have to walk 1 km just to borrow and used my grandmother's old sewing machine. When I was in 3nd year college, I made a demo about how to sew a dress without sewing machine. It was funny... Anyhow, just be patient and try to learn it once again, once you will know the basic, you will know the rest, practice and don't quit! At first it is difficult however, when you see your kids and husband/wife wear the finished product, you're so proud of.

You must be very talented! I made an apron one time and another time I crocheted an afghan. Other than that, I haven't had success in making clothing for the family. I thing if you want to make a bag that you will do fine. Should be able to find some neat patterns on line or some ideas if you are creative enough to look at something and make it. I guess I could make curtains in a pinch. I've seen some really nice ones that friends have made out of sheets and pillow cases.

You must have done a real good job on them! You could make a fortune out of your skill.

Good for you, very productive doing such pajamas and curtains. I have never had a touch in sewing, my mother was a sewmaster and she had practically sewn all the clothes of other women in the neighborhood, until she got old, many still want my mother to sew their clothes, but she just refused. Awww sewing is my waterloo, I have never learned sewing at all. Good for you...

wow, you are good at sewing. I have no idea how to sew since I am not good at it. I am so happy for you that your kids and your husband wear pajamas that make from you. I bet they really like your sewing. They wear to prove they really like them and it is so comfortable. how I wish i can make pajama for my family and my boyfriends. Anyway, your friend ordered a pair of pajama, you can also make extra money. So great you are.
