In July, President Thein Sein had suggested that Burma should send all Rohingya Muslims to any country willing to take them, a proposal quickly opposed by the U.N. refugee agency. Hundreds of Buddhist monks in Burma have staged a rally in support of the President and his proposal to send the members of the Rohingya community to another country. http://www.niticentral.com/2012/09/save-burma-support-prezs-anti-rohingya-plan.html Myanmar Verifying Muslim Citizenship http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/ap-exclusive-myanmar-verifying-muslim-citizenship-17843997 Cruelty toward the Rohingyas is not new. They have faced torture, neglect and repression in the Buddhist-majority land since it achieved independence in 1948. Its constitution closes all options for Rohingyas to be citizens, on grounds that their ancestors didn’t live there when the land, once called Burma, came under British rule in the 19th century (a contention the Rohingyas dispute). Even now, as military rulers have begun to loosen their grip, there is no sign of change for the Rohingyas. Instead, the Burmese are trying to cast them out. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/13/opinion/ethnic-cleansing-of-myanmars-rohingyas.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQucApfAue8 Rohingya Muslims in Burma face the worst situation one can ever imagine, Burmese consider the Rohingyas to be illegal migrants from Bangladesh, but Bangladesh also rejects them, rendering them stateless. I'm sure that most people never heard of this, and I'm also sure that most people always hear (only) that Muslims are terrorists and Budhists are peaceful!! I always read that Buddhism is essentially a peaceful tradition. Nothing in Buddhist scripture gives any support to the use of violence as a way to resolve conflict, and more of peaceful aspects attributed to Buddhism and the teachings of Buddha, see Buddhism and war: http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/buddhism/buddhistethics/war.shtml What in your opinion is the reason that make some people ignore all the good teachings in their scripture? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? What are your thoughts on this?

I follow what is happening in Burma since a period of time .. Rohingyas are under terrible pressure where the burning of houses , slaughter them and burning them alive too .. Any conscience accept what is happening there? they were had Muslim kingdom and lived there for thousands of years .. And ultimately this happen to them ?? lebed has millions of Muslims, also withdrew their identities so as not to be able to prove that they are citizens of Myanmar .. All of this because they have a different religion from the rest of the people of Myanmar?? Officials there do not hesitate to support the Buddhist people and inciting and exterminated Muslims .. Where are human rights ? , Where Freedom doctrine , and where is the right of citizenship ? .. Or are they apply to people and turning a blind eye to other peoples, where are America and other countries Tell them : " Fear a day when you will be returned to God "

It is very sad that this is happening for so long and the entire world including the Muslim countries is acting as silent spectator. Had the victims been a religious community other than Muslims, the UN and other self proclaimed powers rushed to help them. But areas like Myanmar and Kashmir do not deserve their attention perhaps because wiping Muslims out of the face of earth is a part of their agenda.

You are correct in that this atrocity has not been published in our media or any other that I can find. Ethnic cleansing is an abomination perpetrated by the truly evil in this world. I would hope that the arab world would open its doors and arms to any moslems who wish to relocate. They should be taken in with open arms by everyone as brothers, because they are experiencing horror. It would be ideal if Burma could reverse their hatred and find a way to keep the peace within its own borders and allow these moslems to remain in their homes.
