Last Sunday, I was looking at my mom's closet.
I saw some papers that were familiar to me. I took and looked at it - it's mine. I remember the paper was from a notebook that I made as a diary.
Some kind of story was written there - sorry to say, I forgot the title.
But it was about the day I graduated, how things was hard back then and how I get my first job.
One touching phrase there that almost made me cry was, "together with my angel (my mom)"
She was with me to accompany me when I went to a far place for my first job. It was really sweet of her.
I thought what was written there was some kind of a private thing about me. I wonder why those papers were on her closet. All my stuffs are just scattered in my room.
That was the day that I realized again how important is my mom to me.

Awww! That is so sweet of you friend. Indeed, nothing compares to mom, we may sometimes dislike them for being them, but life without them will never be the same.
I am happy for you. God bless!
Woot!... for that expensive gift for mom now I think... yeah?!

Haha! Sweet and cheesy.
Nothing really compares to moms. Including you and me in the future.
She saw my newly bought slippers and wants to have 3 pairs of them.
(I made a discussion about this)
Good thing it only has one color available so I'll be giving her one pair.
That's when I'm able to save again but I have to buy my watch frst.

Of course!
Your mom is funny, probably she's just teasing you co's she knew that it would drives you crazy to hear that.
That is maybe the reason why you bought two co's even without knowing it yet... the other pair is for her. :)

I guess your mom saw it and kept it. She was so touched maybe of what you've written on that paper so she decided to keep it in her closet. Your mom is your angel and you're her angel too. Thanks for sharing this. May you continue showing your mom your love. Happy mylotting.

What's the reason of having teary eyes? I guess it's happiness. Don't worry about crying. You will feel better after crying a bucket of tears. LOL. just kidding. Just trying to make you laugh. Sometimes we really don't realize how our parents so special to us. Simple praises will let their hearts so happy. I guess we should not forget to thank their every effort. We are lucky to have our parents. I guess not all memories are good but all of them are made because they do care for us. They LOVE us that much.

hi adnileb
Moms are so very filled with love that even if they saw something bad written on that paper (as you expected) they might just be preserving it. There is nothing that can match or even compare to mom's love. And many a times we do feel blessed to have moms
So what should I be asking now? okay I have a question - what do you plan to gift your mom this Christmas?

Hey, I am all okay - wherever you respond or not (you can also PM me instead of responding here or there, but that(PM) will not add any cents).
Now back to your response - I gave her some money to cure our house from pests and it costs really expensive. Good. I really appreciate that.
I have been busy with some other things at hand and hope that I should be free and more available from Sunday. I am missing all my friends and their discussion right now...

Oh, of course I want to comment to everyone here.
I don't want to leave them hanging. But in case I do, my apologies.
I can see that you have been very busy and can't see you even for a minute here.
Anyways, you can have all the fun here after that thing you're busy with. Finish them all at once so we can talk about chocos again.

My dad was the one who drove me off to my first job interview, which was in 2007. It was one of those trying times I had and looking for a job was my way of keeping my sanity. I felt that I was too old to be accompanied by my dad, but he did. Luckily, after 12 hours of various written exams and interviews, I made it. All that made him prouder (I hope so!).

I was really not that close to my parents coz I grew up having that "fear" coz they were literally strict with me coz I am the eldest. But when I got married, I guess, it has opened doors for us to be that "reachable" to one another.

WI'm very sure he's proud of you. I guess even if we're old literally, there's no excuse that our parents could still accompany us. They are the much willing persons other that your bestfriend.
I never tried being with my father for that long hours in a travel or in doing something out of town. I always ask for my mom. Me and my father are not that close compared to my mom so she's always been more special to me than anyone else.

Chances come in a good way, to become closer with them.
My parents aren't strict but I never had those bonding moments with my father as every child does because he lived his life abroad, working hard for us.
So when he's having a vacation, I rarely hang out with him because I'm a bit shy. So until now, we're not that close. But I'm matured already so the kind of gap we have is different from before.

I am also a mother and there are times that I can find some notes written or made by my two children and maybe they forgot they have written those things. Some are funny and some are serious and really made me cry. On a funny side. I found a collage made by my daughter. There is the picture of my husband, herself, my son and me. There was a note below her name, princess, her brother, emo, mine, sexy and her father, lucky. I really laugh that hard when I've seen it.
Of course there are some notes that really made me cry because they are telling how much they love me, etc. I also keep those things in my portfolio and from time to time, I would open it.
Have a nice day!

I laughed at the "emo" brother. Haha! such a sweet girl.
And of course you felt so happy that time when you read that you're sexy.
I almost cried too while I was reading my story.
Yes, prashu, we all unite when it comes to the word mother.
I call my mom "mommy" and now, for some time, we call each other "pangga" - meaning loved one.

I remember my boss used to tell me not to rely on my memory but to record everything on papers. I regret I never put that into practice. I trusted my memory so much without realizing that the passage of time and age factor could erase everything that happened earlier in life. Without written records I have faint memories of yesteryears. It could have been all smiles reading those bitter sweet memories only if I have jotted down the events that took place in my youth.

I don't used to do that. Maybe I was just inspired that time that made me write something. But good thing it was about my struggle and success and my mom was in it. It's not yet late. Actually, I will start my journal on my birthday until the pages will run out.

This is one of the reasons I like keeping a diary, because I can look back at what I've been through and really remember what it was like to be in that moment. There are so many things that I would have just lost the memories of if I hadn't written them down. They remind me of what other people have been for me, and why I love them. It's so sweet that your mom kept that stuff. I hope it meant a lot to her as well.

Gift? NONE actually.
I don’t have money left.
I gave her some money to cure our house from pests and it costs really expensive. I told her that I won’t be giving her anymore money for Christmas and she agreed. But then, she mentions every time that she wants to go shopping.
Maybe I will look for something, for her when I go to Baguio.

Mums always have good thoughts for their kids and it is for the kids to realise that. Some times kids become a bit insensitive and make preposterous demands on their parents. You are different

Thanks.
That's why I always play a joke to my mom telling her that she doesn't have grey hair because she's not stressed with me, unlike her sisters who have lots of it.
I don't remember anything that I asked my mom for something she couldn't buy.
But now, she always asks me to buy some stuffs I couldn't buy.

I am a mother and it doesn't need expensive gifts from children to make us happy. Her realization that she is very important to you is a priceless joy and she is treasuring the proof that documented you expression of love to her. And you are a gem of a daughter to your mom.

Hey There!
Mom's tend to hoard things from their children specially those which pertains to our younger years. My mom keeps all the letters I wrote to her when I was young. She keeps the pictures I draw even though they were not comprehensible. Moms are really very important people in our lives.

Maybe your mun was intended to clean your room and she happened to see your diaries. After she read the note, she felt so touched and happy for your words. So she decided to keep this happiness private.
Your gratitude to your mun is attractive to her, and she has found out all her givings are under her daughter's eye. But i cannot figured out why all your stuffs are scattered all over in your room. It seems to be so strange that you can find an answer from your mun when her was back...:)

I didn't mean that my things were scattered so badly - just unorganized.
Anyways, I don't think she cleaned it because the things were still on their same position.
Well, I guess my om happened to read it and kept it. Good thing I was able to see it. I felt touched too knowing she's keeping those kinds with her.

hi adnileb that was very sweet and loving of your mom to go with
you to your first job. I am glad you realize just how important
your mom was to you. I was always very close to my mother and could
always confide in her. I was not close to my dad at all who was much
older than my mom and a very sour very bitter man who never seemed
to have any friends. He felt everyone w as out to fget him and he
wanted all of us to act that way. I hated that way of negative thinking
and swore to live by the Golden Rule: due unto others as you would have them do unto you. It has been my motto all my life.I learned to trust people and respect them.

Me and my father are not that close too. When I was younger, I didn’t have that quality time with him because he’s always working abroad. So we seldom see each other. What I love the most are the chocolates and gifts he brings every time he’s having a vacation.
My mom has always been there for me. Through the good and bad times. I love her very much.
That was a very nice motto to have. I never thought of my motto in life. Maybe I will start thinking for it now.

That's why I agree that mother's knows best and that sometimes we need to express or tell our mother how grateful we are and that we love her because sometimes, these words heal wounds, this will add to their happiness.
