I am sitting here watching Being Human and I feel sorry for this girl on the show who is a ghost. She just wonders around no one can see her only for her housemates who is a vampire and a wherewolf. There was a point in this show, where people could see her and she could have conversations with her. Now,they can't see her any more. I'd hate to be a ghost, because I would feel so alone, because no one would talk to me and no one would see me. Plus in this show, she can't eat or drink and sleep. And if ghost really can't do that, then I would hate it even more. But I would hate being a ghost more of for the fact that I couldn't talk to people. I'd rather just move on and not be on earth any more.
What about you, would you want to stick around on earth as a ghost? Why or why not?

That may be a good reason to stick around after you die. Especially if they treated you badly and cheated on you. Then I'd stick around and haunt them and play all kinds of tricks on them. Or even if someone had murdered you. That would definitely be a good reason for me to stick around.

If you can believe some of the things they say about ghosts, they tend to be lost and confused. Many don't know where they are although there are some who try to communicate and others who try to play tricks on people.
I have seen two versions of this show, the original from BBC and the American version from the SyFy channel which I think is pale by comparison to the original. All three characters in the show have problems with the vampire and werewolf worrying about killing people including some that they love or turning them into vampires or werewolves.

Yeah I have seen the American version. I think I like both. But I've only saw a few episodes of the American version, then couldn't watch any more because we don't have cable. But I like both and I've been watching the BBC version on Netflix because they have more episodes for me to watch.

Maybe it would be good to stick around earth for a little while if you were a ghost so you could communicate with loved ones. I have seen psychics on t.v. talk to ghosts. I think I would become lonely like you said because I wouldn't be able to talk to my friends or family and they wouldn't be able to see me. So I would rather leave earth and be forever lonely.

Haa haaa haaaaaaaaaa. I can understand your feeling and that scariness of getting ignored by others in that stage. But I don't know whether they really exists? Or it is a MYTH!

I really don't think that ghost are real, but hey you never know. I'm just saying sticking around on earth for such a long time, would drive me crazy after awhile. Because I'd never be able to communicate with people, because they couldn't see me. I wouldn't mind sticking around for a little bit because I'd want to make sure that my love ones were okay and that they had eventually moved on from me dying and then I'd like to move on. But sticking around on earth for long term, I'd especially hate it because of what I mentioned I'd just go crazy.

Being a ghost would be quite refreshing. I could go where ever I wanted do all the things that limit me here. Although, after a few hundred years it would get kinda stale. Whatever cards I'm dealt I will try to make the most of, I guess.
Think of this as a ghost I can slap the mess out of everybody on earth twice. I can ghost pee on people, twice. I can learn every language, once. I could jump off the highest building and if I so happen to run into any other ghost, oh, it's really on then I would choke them ghost style. Put me in a jar and will make the most of it until the air runs out.

I guess there are a lot of people that would enjoy being a ghost. But yeah for a while it would be loads of fun, but then eventually, you would go crazy because no one can see you no one would know that you are around and no one would talk to you. Unless you were to run into another ghost.

It's ridiculous how often I have this conversation with myself (a good trait for a future ghost?) I believe if you can choose to be a ghost, there are a lot of other things that are true. So you don't need to be tortured, and you don't need to stay if you're ready to say goodbye, and you probably have new abilities or limits to test to interact with the world if you remain.
I'd stick around for a long time. Go traveling, watch over my family, play tricks on people... everything I would do when alive ;D.

I don't want to be a ghost. Because for me, a ghost is a bad spirit. Of course I don't want to be considered bad. I want to be an angel wherein I can watch over my family and friends. I will not look at them if it's a very private situation like taking a bath or changing clothes. Since I am an angel my tasks are only for the good of them like helping them to avoid accidents.
