why parents for their security srew up elder sons life?

It is because of the trend being followed in india from ages and the misconception that only some degrees are good like engineering and doctor , all parents wants their children to take up these professions and nothing else , the mindset is weak .they dont want to change and try new things , that is why india is still a developing nation only.

Actually all the relations want the balance in it. Infact the parents desires, dreams and wishes are very high from their children specially from elder son. They really screwed up the elder son to follow their instruction and do what thet want. They should realise the feelings of their children, they should feel the dreams of their children. The children have the right to set the goal for their better future. The parents should set their wishes according to the interest of the children. The important thing for the parent is that their child is achieving his goal. He is a successful person in the world. It does'nt metter which field he chosen. The parent should just guide them in the right way according to the field of the children that they chosen. Please don't embose your their desires if the child don't take any interest in it.Otherwise u will destroy his future from ur own hand.

Parents in India might just want their elder sons to lead a good example or good life, a life better than what they had. Screw up might just be a though when the son can not understand where the parent is coming from. you might be a father by now, Do you mean you screw up your sons life? Talk to your son, ask him what he feels, he might just feel as you think. If this is the case, patch up, improve your communication so you will have a better understanding and leverage in life.
