Dear God, Christmas is coming, and I have got no job for the past one year.My savings have run up and I do not know how to celebrate Christmas, not any thing fabulous or fantastic but just a good dinner and at same time to get free from any debts for meeting the necessities.I thank my maker for paying my rent in his mercy and helping me to exist with his grace.Inflation is on the high, and whatever little I make will be increased, to meet my needs with the grace of my maker.Anyway Happy Christmas to All my friends on my lot and let all of you be filled with all abundance to enjoy this Christmas.

Christmas is the spirit of sharing. It also brings joy, celebration and jubilation. Join the celebration group in the shopping malls. You may have freebies, drinks and food given freely to you. Go to you local churches and gifts, drinks and food will be offered freely to anyone attending. I wish you Merry Christmas and have a Joyful Year ahead. God bless you abundantly.

I know where you are coming from. I was jobless for almost a month when I first came to Dubai. Believe me when I say that during those times, I search for work from 7AM to 10PM daily, 7 days a week. My only break is when I eat and go to the john. I also prayed to God as I ask for his help to find me a job. Thank God, my hard work paid off. Otherwise, my family expenses would have ballooned so much. Christmas is a very expensive time of the year and I understand your anxiety. I experienced hardships too for the past 10 years when my salary can barely support my family. During those years, my family spent Christmas by being together and no gifts for my friends and relatives. Just greeted them Merry Christmas and they understood. So don't worry about your situation. I'm sure your family and friends will understand. Just try to consistently look for a job, day-in and day-out then keep on praying. I'm sure that with God's will, you will be able to find job.

Always bear in your mind , God is a great provider ! He knows our needs without even telling Him. He truly cares for us evident in those birds whom even God cared and nurtured , now how much more with us human being. He truly loves us more , today you may don't have work , you just pray harder , one day you can really have.

Times can get difficult, but stay in prayer and everything will be ok. Even though you may not be able to purchase fancy gifts the joy of Christmas is spending time with love ones and giving thanks for all our blessing. Take care and have a happy holiday.

It has bee really bad for lots of people. I think many are doing things like going to Christmas concerts and making things out of things they have at home. Hopefully you will find a job soon and things will get better.

Oh, I also want to celebrate Christmas without spending too much so until now, I haven't gone out yet to buy any gifts. I'm going to window shop on Friday and hope I could find little things to giveto all of my loved ones. I hope they won't mind the price, just the thought. LOL. I hope you will also enjoy Christmas. It's better to have a simple celebration than to spend a lot and be broke after Christmas. Thank you for wishing us all a good Christmas. May you be blessed with a job soon. Don't lose hope. Happy mylotting.

Really, it's so hard and so desperate enough of thinking our bills if we do not have a job. I myself have a full time job but I still run out of money, how much more those are jobless and no money to receive....may the Spirit of Christmas gives you joy and happiness and great abundance of blessings in the coming year...

Wow. A year? I've found 4 jobs in the past year. I just got a job offer today. Have you tried Wendy's? They are still hiring.

Ah! Your near perfect English confused me. I was sure you were American. In that case, yes I see your problem. You need to tell your government to stop messing up your economy, so more jobs are available.

It's really hard getting by without a job. I've been in your shoe couple of times before. I know it's easy to give an advise to go out and find a job. Yet some times we just couldn't get hired no matter how many times we tried. But just don't lose hope for sure you will wake up one day so busy with your job. Things will get better in time. In the meantime, just try to enjoy Christmas. Even without money, you can celebrate Christmas! Me and my family have celebrated Christmas before with just one piece each of some food that we can only afford with our little money. Continue to be thankful to God and for sure He will bless you and help you out. Happy Christmas to you and your family!

You can still celebrate Christmas though you don't have work. Just be contented of what you what at hand this time. Life is full with ups and down, you are just in your down paths when it comes to finances but for sure sooner or later you'll go up again. Let's pray that the Lord will give us all abundance this month... and that's include you and me. :) God bless!

Sadly there are thousands and thousands of people in the same dire situation with recession biting hard and mass unemployment, there just seems to be no end to hardship and people losing their jobs, homes and finding they cannot pay bills.

It can be a hard time of the year to not have a job, but hopefully you'll be able to enjoy the season regardless. It seems like so many people are struggling this year, doesn't it?

Dear RubyRoy I don’t know if this will bring comfort to your feelings but you’re not certainly the only one without a job or a proper one at that. I think many people here are in the same situation and we all know how it feels like being somewhat alone and helpless with the sitatuion. Anyway, I admire you for being positive despite the setbacks. Not many people 9including me) are so positive in life right now. It’s easy to be negative but you still found some time to give thanks to God especially in his birthday. Also, it doesn’t help that we’re facing a natural disaster. Let’s hope that New Year, for all it’s worth, will do bring us new hope and something to look forward to.
