Red Dawn (2012) is a remake of the war film by the same name which was released in 1984 starring Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen. This time the leading actors are the very handsome Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Josh Hutcherson (Peeta from Hunger Games). We saw its clip when we watched Breaking Dawn 2 last month… got our eyes glued on the hunky Chris and the cutie Josh H. Well it’s not only about the actors, we watched it because the movie seems like a good one to see. It did not fail us. We loved it. Laughed at it. Felt sad in some scenes. Got disappointed when… oopps sorry can’t tell you. You gotta watch it. All in all, this is a good film for me. But I am expecting something different on its ending. Have you seen the film? Like it?

Hi jai You gotta see it although I can't actually say it's a must see movie. We love the actors and we think they acted well. It's just that the ending didn't satisfy us. Well okay, do come back if you've seen the movie so I would know what you think about the movie.

yeah..probably cuba ..USSR is not really a possible threat to the minds of the audience..so they change it to North Korean..so more believable as a current threat..

Hi rafiholmes, Yes I didn't know about it being a remake until a friend told me. And when I read some thing online, I found out that they have based the film on the 1984 movie and later decided a remake of it. However, the invaders, instead of Soviet Union, Russian, and Cubans... they have made it South Koreans. I haven't read about a much older version of Red Dawn yet.

ood morning, dear little one! No..I have not seen the movie, and will not be able to see it until it appears on DVD (is released on DVD.) We have no movie theatre here on this small Island, and the cost to see a recently released movie is prohibitive, as it entails a long Ferry trip both ways..the Ferry Fare(both ways) $65.00 to go to Victoria, $120.oo to go to Vancouver and possibly the inclusion of a hotel/motel room if it is not a matinee! NO..seeing a movie, is off the radar..I have to be patient and wait to enjoy in the comfort of my home, with a small rental fee..about $4.00! It's the economical thing..LOL! How you doing..Princess????

Hi pergammano Nice to see you here again I'm doin; fine so far =) Hope you are too =) I was shocked with all the things you said. There's so much hassle going for a movie if you're really living on a small island. Renting a DVD is indeed the only and good option to catch good movies. Plus, it's really cheaper and convenient watching it at home.

Red Dawn - Red Dawn, starring Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas and Josh Hutcherson
The reviews of Red Dawn (2012) states it's quiet disappointing towards the end, it's about group of teenagers saving there hometown Spokane, Washington from North Korean invasion. After hearing the story of Red Dawn it didn't make me want to watch the movie ... Chris Hemsworth acted in Thor, Red Dawn production started in September 2009 and was supposed to release in November 24, 2010, but for some reasons was released in 21 November 2012 .............

Hi arunr175, Even me and friends didn't like the ending that much. Becoz you will be left with questions and wonder what will happen next. It's like waiting for a sequel of the movie. But for me it is still a movie to see. I still like it even though the ending didn't go through our expectation. I have read some bad reviews and what makes this movie watchable is because of 'Thor'.
