I have been hearing about how great the doughnuts from J.Co tastes. But I just couldn't stand to be waiting in such a long queue every time I come over their pace to buy a dozen. Actually, it was already off my mind for sometime. Just then I got a text message from my sister telling me that she bought be a box of J.Co doughnuts! I was excited! My son went to their house right after school and had it as my dessert after dinner. I didn't know it was really that tasty, coz out of 12 doughnuts, I had 4! She chose the flavors I wanted, so there was no stopping me! Hello unwanted fats! What is your experience with a food that you have tasted for the first time?

I also have tasted J.Co when my brother came home from his Manila trip. And I said, so there's a new doughnut again? When I tasted it, I said I still prefer the glazed doughnut of Krispy Kreme. I don't know if it comes with the age, but I'm not into too much sweet foods anymore (oh no! I'm already growing old )
But my officemate said, J.Co is delicious especially if being heated in a microwave. Well, maybe that is why I haven't appreciated it because I ate it cold and fresh from the ref.

Is it just my taste buds or what? I find Krispy Kreme sweeter than J.Co, sorry, probably my taste buds. Sometimes I just don't care, if I'm hungry, even the cheapest donut is good enough for me. Oops coffee break, gotta get some! :)

I have tasted Krispy kreme, too, but I have never become a fan of it. Well, there was also Go Nuts Doughnuts, right? But the best for me really is J.Co

maybe it was my taste bud also that time that made me think J.Co is sweeter... or was it the flavor available? Maybe I should try J.Co again. Both of you have persuaded me that J.CO is better. It's just unfortunate it still has not arrive here in Davao yet... I also find Go Nuts a little bit fancy...

Oh! I personally have not heard of J.Co. Is it another designer doughnut store? Or a gourmet coffee shop? Your discussion only got me very curious about it. I was wondering, can you tell me where I can go find one of their outlets? Thanks in advance and will let you know what I think of it once I have tried it.

You'd get hooked with it once you've tasted their soft, sweet dough! they have branches in Trinoma, Megamall and Greenbelt. Just be careful, you might end up wanting it all the time.

I loved the clam chowder that I tasted for the first when I was holidaying in the US. I was spending a couple of days with my friend when she picked up a tin and prepared it for dinner. I like it so much that I talked about it to my neighbour here who has now settled down in the US. And every time she comes for holidays she gets me a tin!

I enjoy creamy soups and may be I could even try making it at home. But being high in calories I would rather wait for my neighbour to bring it for me which will be once in a way and that way it will be tastier!

Exactly! That is how i think about those doughnuts uf the store was really near my house. Although it is only about 15 minutes away from here, syill it is a bit tiring to go to the mall just to buy them. Might as well wait for my sister to bring me anothet box of it!

Hi! I have tried J.Co donuts also, and man, they are the best tasting doughnuts I have ever tried in my whole life! I tried the al capone variant and it tastes so good. It's not super sweet and the it's so soft it makes me crave for some more. It's more expensive than Dunkin Donuts and Mister Donut though, but I prefer J.Co.
I want to have some now! :)

Oh for sure I would be just like you. Doughnuts are one of my favorites and since I get the good kinds so rarely I would be mowing down on them.

YUM!!!
I love tasting something for the first time and loving it so much that I end up "adopting" it!!!
Back when I was between my junior and senior year of high school, my folks and I spent part of our vacation at a place in Alabama called Dauphin Island.
We decided to eat at this little hole-in-the-wall place close to the causeway. There was this scruffy-looking guy seated at the counter, and he told us to be sure to try the hush puppies.
We had never had hush puppies before, so we got an order--and have been hooked on them ever since.
We don't eat them all of the time, but we always find them to be a real treat when we do.
I remember back in 1990 when I went into this restaurant because I was curious about their sign outside that said to come in and try one of their peanut burgers.
I assumed that this was a kind of burger where the "meat" part was made of peanuts instead of beef.
However, I found out it was a burger that had high-quality beef (like a ground steak--what Steak'n'Shake calls a steakburger) that was put on the grill. At the time when cheese would be applied to make a cheeseburger, smooth peanut butter was applied instead. The finished product was then placed between two grilled bun halves along with some pickle slices.
I've been loving them ever since!!!

I like all the bakery products including these doughnuts. I prefer toasts, baked biscuits, cream roles. I prefer bakery products because they are always fresh. I like plane cakes with no icings at all. I don't like heavy creams over it. I enjoy simple brown cake with a round or a box shape and i can eat as much as possible in one sitting.Happy new year to you all.

Actually, I had the doughnuts with coffee. And it was a perfect combination! As with cakes, I usually have either juice or soda.
