Tphoon.... The Aftermath ?

Philippines

Another typhoon strikes the southern part of the Philippines just a day ago. Sad to say it is not only the typhoon that destroyed the properties of my fellow countrymen but the after effect. THE FLOOD ! Oh my, when can we escape this kind of problem? We all knew the culprit... the cutting of trees.... then why can't we stop doing it. Everytime there's a typhoon, flood follows.. plenty of lives were taken, lots of properties were lost and what else do they want? To all illegal loggers, where are your conscience?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well it is absolutely disappointing to hear about the typhoon and i know every time a typhoon or a flood comes, it takes away a lot of precious and innocent lives with it. I know many would have been affected due to these calamities and many would have been homeless and i wish that life returns to normalcy after this. As u have said that the tree cutters are the main culprits and i would like to support u on this. Hope people are listening to us! How is the situation now? What say?

As of 10 a.m. Monday, plenty are still missing. Still no electricity from Mawab to Monkayo of Compostela Valley. But, it is nice to hear that when President Noynoy visited the affected areas, he instructed the electric company (DANECO) who are very slow in any situation ( it's the truth), that they should do something so that there is light (electric power) before Christmas day. Was it such a nice gesture?
