I'm already 24 and I have started multiple blood transfusion since I was 15. I'm an aplastic anemia patient also known as BONE MARROW FAILURE patient. It's not easy having to explain what I've been through and what my sickness is about because often times, when I say aplastic anemia... people misunderstand it and take it as nutritional anemia. They advise me to eat plenty of green vegetables and food with a lot of iron not knowing that I am also under Iron chelation treatment because I have iron overload due to the blood transfusions.
I often have infections and have to go to the doctor monthly or every 3 weeks just to check how I am doing. I stopped studying. I am supposed to be working now after graduating but since I'm not in the condition to study like a regular student.
Though I'm like this, doctors are amazed seeing that I'm still alive and strolling like nothing's wrong with me. Usually, people with this kind of sickness doesn't last this long. I am not lucky, I'm blessed.
Tomorrow, I'll undergo another transfusion.

It must not be easy going through all that in such a young age. I'm sorry to hear about your health condition. But, I can feel that you're a stronger person having accepted your situation and that you're doing your best to live your life the best way you can.
Keep it up. You must be an inspiration to other people who are suffering from the same or similar situation.

Yes, you truly are blessed to have these people around you. I'm pretty sure they are the reason why you are able to stand strong amidst the situation you're in.

Th inspiration that's best to see is the inspiring faith my family has that I could live through this life even with this sickness. I feel blessed (even though they are over protective of me) because God has given me a great family - my parents and also friends.
