I hate it when it rains so hard. The connection always gets affected. All the more for a bad typhoon. I did not go online yesterday, because I was pretty sure the connection would be slower than a sloth. And, I thought it would be better today, since the sun is up for good. But, no, the connection is still very weak. In fact, i wasn't able to play Sims Social the whole morning and afternoon.
Good thing the connection was good enough to access myLot.

I remember one time in 2010 when there was a black out that affected most of the Central Luzon Area. I was still working on my online job that time and during that time, there was a schedule of work for my agents. My boss was from Cavite, and he was also affected with the black out. All of our agents had the same kind of connection- using WIFI. And I was the only one using the stick (USB typr broadband). And so we were just talking via cellphone and my boss asked me to contact our US client to inform him that no agent will be working that time due to the black out. The connection wasn't that good. And I was literally having 10 candles beside me just to have enough light. Although my laptop was in full bright, my eyes get a bit crazy in the dark.

Yup, good thing.the laptop was fully charged. Had to do.some things too that night with regards with that project with the client. The client was understanding enough. Though i feel sorry for the agents coz they lost 4hours of work that day. They all badly needed money.

Are clients usually like that?
I'm a bit concerned because I also plan to get into online jobs, and our country is always hit by natural calamities.

Oh, but your laptop battery could only last for a few hours, if fully charged. So, perhaps you just had enough time to inform your clients about the situation, huh.

Hello there.
Yesterday morning, we had a movie marathon in the office since the internet connection is out. We waited for the connection to come back until lunch time.
Yeah, it's annoying because you can not proceed or even start your work. You can't even play online games. Good thing you have, even though it's too slow. Nevertheless, we should be thankful. Those areas that were severely affected and devastated by typhoon Pablo don't even have electricity.
They need our help and prayers. God bless. Keep safe.

Was it a bad thing to be just watching movie instead of working? I bet most employees would party for it.

hi there,
it is really annoying when a typhoon is happening. though you are just working at home, still you cannot do it easily since the internet was disturbed by the not so good weather. anyway, i hope the internet providers will research more to improved this kind of line.

It really is frustrating. So, I didn't bother connecting yesterday. However, it still was that bad today.

Yes, I think almost all experiences slow connection when it is raining hard, well, especially in typhoons. Let us just see the reasons behind so that we won't get so upset.
