I’m planning to propose to my parents to have another business in our hometown. The problem is I’m running out of ideas on what kind of business we should put up. In our immediate vicinity alone, we have two karinderias (lunch and dinner are solved), four sari-sari stores, many apartments, 4 computer shops and the end of the street has some people dealing with cars, bikes and their parts. I am hopeless in thinking what kind of small business we could venture into. I’m into writing but I don’t think I could sell that service expect for students here (if they are interested in the first place). Any good ideas?

Since your community has a lot of apartments why not try a laundry business.

Actually, if you have to think of what business you would put up jean , you have to survey the place. Is it in an strategic place? Are the items for your business categorized as need or luxury, because if it is in a place where only simple people resides, then most likely they would buy needs not luxuries.
Lastly, you also have to take into consideration if your business is something different from the rest of the businesses there.
