The latest 3D version was supposed to enhance the viewer's experience in this movie. However, having seen that 3D version, I hardly noticed anything different. The feeling was - same good old experience as with the original movie, but absolutely wasted money for a movie theatre ticket.
Anyone having a different take on this?

Believe me I have watched this more than 100 times, in hall in wide screen as well using my DVD player..Recently i watched the 3D version, i spent 500 in tickets and 300 in auto fare, i don't felt much difference though.

I like to watch the original movies much more. Although the 3D movies have a better effect. However, its price is also much more expensive. And since I am near-sighted, I have to wear one pair of glasses and another pair of 3D glasses. This is quite inconvenient since I have to wear two pairs of glasses at the same time. And my son is still a child. But the cinema doesn't have a 3D glasses for children. So he has to hold the 3D glasses all the time and it is tiring for him. So actually we don't enjoy watching 3D movies so much.

I absolutely LOVED the 3D version of Titanic. I became a huge Titanic fan when I first saw the film in 1997. When I heard it was being re-released in 3D this year, I knew I had to see it. And it was worth every penny. And the price of tickets these days is the biggest reason I don't go to the movies much anymore. I was such a fan of Titanic that it was the reason I bought my first big screen TV. I just couldn't watch the video on a small TV. Now, the 3D version may very well be the reason I buy my first 3D TV, if I do. I really thought the movie was ideal for the 3D format. The original movie already gave the impression of being on board the ship especially when it was sinking. But the 3D really adds to that effect.

i think i am a lover for the latest 3d version Titanic. It's amazing in my view. of course i also enjoy the old original version. But I am a creative man and love creative things, including 3D movies. In spite of the same story spot in the new version, it enhances my experience of not only this movies, but also many feelings, good feelings, that are rare nowadays. i enjoy the movie, but i enjoy more the feeling it brings to me, kind of touching and memories of my love. So maybe the 3D Titanic is a waste in your view, but difinitely not for me.:)
