Last night, as my husband and I , watched the late night news, I felt bad when I saw the many dead people because of typhoon Pablo. I know, no one wants to be caught in the middle of the wrath of a typhoon, much less get killed. But still, there are people who are killed because of the typhoon. I just prayed that the left loved ones be consoled of the death in their families caused by typhoon Pablo and that our government will help them stand up once again to face life.

Let's pray for those people who passed away. It was really heartbreaking. Christmas is jus a few days from now and they weren't able to witness it. I hope they may rest in peace. Losing our loved ones is really painful. I hope their family members will be able to move on in their lives and could get some help from our government. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I hope they haven't lost their hopes yet. They need to be stronger now at times like this. Let's pray for all of them.

It is really heartbreaking angel. The survivors were shown on TV and they appear hurting, specially the children. The government has been doing what they can to help now. People are also sending in , help. DENR has already implemented a Complete Log Ban. (Why just now?)

I actually expect that this would happen because even when typhoon pablo is not here yet it is already said that this typhoon is too strong even me and my family are afraid that it would land on us but fortunately we don't suffer much.Praying in this kind of situation would really help, There are lots of missing people too and i hope that those people were still alive.

I can really feel the pain of the people wailing because they lost their loved ones. And i can only cry inside for them too. I went to be sad because of that. I prayed for all of them, that they will be consoled and helped by the local government and moneyed people near their place.

Yes, they shouldn't blame God for these calamities, because it's not him who gave these. He only allowed it, so the people's faith can be tested and if they emerge strong because of their faith, they surely will be helped by Him.

It is just a reminder from god that he is always there to help, so therefore we must take sometime to talk to him. Life is indeed full of heartaches but if we put god in the center of our life then it will be easy for us to take the challenges.

I just happen to know about the devastation brought about by typhoon Pablo in our country awhile ago through the internet and I feel sad and sorry for our affected kababayans. I read from some posts in the facebook regarding flight cancellations due to this typhoon so I expected to be a very strong one. I prayed and hope that this will not be another typhoon Ondoy which left a lot of casualties. But then again, I learned that more than a were killed and the number is still counting. I just hope that those affected would recover soon and the government would aid them.

This is really sad my dear This happened already last year and the other year ... :( There is always a reason behind why tragedies happen, and hope everyone of us will search for the answer. My heart breaks, watching the news too...

There are many ways to send our donations. Our organization collects used clothing, dry goods, bottled water -anything that are useful and shipped to our countrymen.

Yes Jaiho. I think our company will be sending some donations too. We cannot just let our fellowmen suffer just like that. We have to help even in our little ways.

We can in our own capacity help by sending our used clothing etc. I hope there will be channels where we can send them just like the other year's super typhoon. But what we can surely do to help right now is to keep praying for them.

I feel the same way, too. What really moved me was seeing children as young as 1 year old to be trapped in the mud. It is truly heartbreaking! Haven't you noticed that lately, these typhoons just cause a lot of people's lives? Who should we blame for this? I think the people themselves should do something on their part to be able to prevent such calamities claiming lives of people.

That is true! The government should take action now before these kind of disasters strike us again. The people really need to be more vigilant in preserving our environment and that the government should also be able to provide other forms of livelihood projects that would sustain the people from those areas that has been affected.

Well, i am happy to know from the TV that DENR has imposed a COMPLETE LOG BAN in the province. That's for a starter.

Yes,some people themselves are to be blamed . It was shown on TV that among those that came with the flood are the logs. Thus, it can be pinpointed that illegal logging which is rampant there is one of the culprits. This reflects some lapses on the part of the DENR people and high officials.

I am happy to hear in the news that there are many help that will be coming. One good news also is that DENR has already imposed a Complete Log Ban in the province. Pampanga sent free coffins also. Other donations are also coming. I just really hope the donations will not be misappropriated.

I almost cry when I saw the little boy who has mud and wounds all over his face. He was crying because he doesn't know where his parents are. There's a guy who's taking good care of him in the hospital. They are not related to each other. The older man is also crying because he said for 50 years of living in that community, it never happened..just now. I'm really praying for all of them. My town also experienced that when Ondoy (typhoon Ketsana) landed here. My family is really blessed that the flood didn't reach our house.
