Yes, you can share anything you want as long as it doesn't violate the mylot discussion guidelines. Anyways, I also had that time in school where I will go home totally stressed out. All you have to do is to be in that 30%. Well if you really wanna pass that subject.

Maybe he said that in hopes that you will prove him wrong! Sometimes teachers have a way of encouraging you, so everyone is going to think, hey, I want to be one of the 30%. Sometimes messages have hidden meanings and if you read between the lines, and I would interpret that as giving you something to aim for, a goal.

That is bad news, my friend! Your professor is not helping much by saying that, he is making passing a difficult course much more stressful now. He is trying to hint that only less than one third of you all is going to pass in his class in this semester, may be you want to consider changing to a different class with a easy going professor if possible, seem like this professor is taking his lecture too serious and having very high expectation from you all. You are really in deep trouble now, the competition is getting tough and unless you have tough luck, chances are you have to study extra hard and burn more mid night oil from now on, Mylotting can't do much to help if the passing rate is so low. It sure is no fun at all for you in this semester.

Those are some scary statistics, but I am sure you will do well. Just do the best you can and remember what you learned all semester long. Good luck and of course I wish the very best outcome for you passing this class.

I think you can encounter the fierce competition in university may be is a good thing because it can let you learn how to handle the competition and overcome the obstacle,and it also is the warming up for you to join the real society because when I step into the society you will find out that the competition is more severe than university. Good luck my friend,I really believe that you can overcome everything hinder you.

Sharing things on mylot is one of the best benefits this site offers. We learn that we are not alone. Look at that 30% as a goal and work for it. I'm sue you can do it. I do something a little off when I am facing a challenge. I look at the worse that could happen and figure out a plan for that, then I just try my best. Most of the time the worse never happens, but if it does I am prepared. All my life I have done this and it works for me.

You'll be fine. Teachers and professors always say those things because they want you to do your best. Good luck in School.

Just do your best and everything will be fine. As long as you know that you give your best, whether you pass or not you will never feel sorry. In many cases where we fail to pass or achieve something it is because we neglect to give our best- therefore we ended up saying..."if only I did my best".

Don't stress out too much I am sure the 30 percent pass is just a scare tactic.

hi devonavis oh my do take heart as way bakd wh I went back to the University of Ca Irvine and I was 45 mind you the prof said hte sam thing in several of my classes and I think almost the whole class passed as I saw most of the same faces when we all graduated. that was forty odd years ago and I passed with a 'B average in spite of flunking a Latin grammar final.so if I could do that I will be t you will pass. I wish you ,um lets see,I wish you good really great grades, I wish you self confidence galore and I wish you smooth sailing all the way through the U until you graduate.
