As we all know Christmas is coming up ,what I wonne know is what you like on Christmas and what you don't like I think everybody thinks a little different about it
Maybe I should say I have twelve grandkids
Ok I start with what I DON'T like
-what for gifts I should buy?
-shopping the gifts
-wrapping the gifts
-I don't like become gifts
-it is cold outside
-and I'm always broke after Christmas
What I like on Christmas is to see the family again and their smile on the face when they open their presents all above is forgotten
How about you?

I think that's the materialistic side of people expecting to receive exensive gifts. Christmas celebration should not be expensive. We can have a simple celebration like attending mass and share our blessings to our lesser fortunate brothers and sisters.
It really feels good to see the kids excitement opening their Christmas gifts!

Christmas is very much awaited. This is the day when we remember Jesus Christ was born. I should say, this is also Pro and Contra, why? for the kids, It is Pro because they will be going to their godparents to ask/receive their presents or aguinaldos. And Contra, for the godparents, who have lots of Godchildren, who are very problematic, how would they budget their money to buy gifts.
But even though it pro and contra, I would say this , Christmas is the day of giving. You will not care on how much we spent as long as we are all happy and enjoying this day with all smiles not only in our faces but hearts.

OMG 12 grandkids? I guess since it's Christmas I am lucky I only have 4! This year we are only buying for the kids in the family. What I don't like about Christmas is I miss my parents dearly and my family is a mess because basically nobody is talking to anyone and they won't give in seeing it's a holiday. What do I like....you know I can't think of a thing.

I love Christmas and I love presents.
I love to love to wrap them away but I only have one problem that I do not have that much money and it's difficult.
however, because I have to buy a lot of gifts are needed for this gift.
but I think it's so easy if you have the money everything is so easy.
inetersna topic.
nice day!

Not all is about money sure it would be much easier but it don't has to be a expensive gift to show somebody that you care

the only thing about christmas I like is that all shops are closed for 2 days. No visitors, no need to cook, no need to drag my kids to school. Silence at last and some time for me to sleep a bit extra (as till 6 am) if I need it. It's the only real vacation I have. Christmas has nothing to do with buying presents or santa claus. If you are a christian (like people in my country) you go to church at midnight Dec 24/Dec 25 and that's it. If not you stay at home. I don't like shopping and am happy I don't have that stress (what to buy for whom and probably not being happy with it since they already have plenty of stuff way more as they need).

When I was a kid, Christmas was my most favorite holiday of the year. At the start of BER months, we start to hear Christmas songs played on the radio. The community becomes jolly because of the Christmas decors especially at night when the Christams lights are lit up. Christmas is also the time of family reunions and get together. But most importantly, Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We spend more during Chritmas than any other time of the year because of the gifts that we buy and the foods that we serve for festivities (noche buena), but it does not mean that we have to get broke. I guess we just have to spend within our budget and that should be fine.
