I love to use perfume but I don't collect them. I guess they are expensive. LOL. I buy one at a time. If the bottle is already empty then that's the best time to buy another one.

It's okay to collect perfumes. If I have some extra cash and I don't have any problem with money, I would also collect different perfumes. I am not allergic to perfumes so I will enjoy having all the scents I want. LOL. You're right. It's such a waste if you bought some and never used them. :(

hi,
some have the habit of collecting the perfumes many of my friends do that. They love it. varieties of perfumes are kept and used according to their interest and mood. Its quiet good to maintain such habit. But they should not waste them. some people just buy and forget about them .Its total waste of money.

Ricki, I think that is a good thing. I mean the scent of perfume can bother a lot of people. I think it possible to smell fresh without needing to wear perfume. Actually wasn't purfume originally invented to cover up body odor? I think in today's modern times we have found other ways of handling this with the invent of deodorant.
I am currious is the scents of body sprays milder than that of perfume? I have never tried the body sprays.

It was my partner who got me onto scents, they had a whole shelf full of different perfumes! Not that I tried any, but I got bought a bottle of scent and I got a lot of compliments from the women at work (I didn't mention this to my partner!) Now I buy perfume or scent all the time. I love Joop and CKB they are my favourites

Well, I understand that wearing perfume is one of things that we can be pressured into doing as part of a social norm. For me, I just cannot handle the smell of perfume. It makes my eyes water and nose run. I have tried wearing it. Especially like when I get samples of perfume. I do not understand why the smell of it has to be so sweet and flowery.
The odd part is that one of the scents that I like better is the smell of vanilla. I have in the past had this lotion from Bath and Body that was vanilla and warm sugar. I loved the scent of it. The other scent that I really like is cucumber melon.

Yes, I definitely prefer milder scents that have more of a clean fresh scent to them. I have to admit I love the Kiss Snuggle scent of Wild Orchid and Vanilla. It makes doing the laundry so nice.
It took me years before I could handle the smell of hairspray. I can handle that one. Although I do not always wear hairspray, I mostly will just use styling products on days for work. I have learned that hairspray can go along way to having that perfect looking hairdo. I can make it the whole day with my hair clipped up in a french twist provided it has been properly sprayed into place. The funny thing is that people generally tned to think that I have done something drastic like cut my hair really short. It is like the thought that it is just in an updo does not cross their minds.
Truthfully, it more the floral scents that bother me. Even there are flowers that will the strong smell of them will make me sneeze and my eyes water.
