This year, education ops the highest priority in the Phil budget that was passed this week. There is also a added 56 billion pesos for the K12 program. But even with all these money, I do hope that our education system gets a revamp - that means teachers will be paid accordingly, classrooms would be a viable learning environment for children and textbooks won't be of shortage. school facilities should also be improved. The budget is currently at 2 trillion and I tihnk it's high time we improve our education, especially in the public schools. Change shoudl come steadily and I think that one way of improving our conditions and our lives.

Yes, and you know what I like to what they were doing, all the woods that were confiscated from illegal loggers? they used it to make desks or repair of the school. I was fascinated with that act.. such a great one actually, one of the best actions. The K12 program will not be felt immediately or now but after the first set of K12 students graduated that is after the grade 1 students now, graduate from High school that's approximately, 13 years from now. 7 grade school and 5 in high school. they deserve to have budget increase...

Yes. It remains to be seen if the program is effective. If it is, perhaps the critics will find soemtihng good about it.

That is the hope.imagine how many schools, teachers and students can benefit form that money. I tihnk that many parents wants to have a bright future for their kids but they can't do that if the system isn't fixed or even caters to real education.
