Funny story... Never watch....

Having just had a new baby after 9 years since my last I am relearning things as I go often with comical outcomes. A few nights ago was one of those experiences. The baby was awake for his 2 a.m. feeding and was having a rough time getting his burp up, so after about 30 minutes I figured it was going to be a long run and turned on on of my favorite stand up comedians to help me stay awake for him. Well 45 minutes into to show the baby has dosed off but just barely, nearly to the point were I can lay him down, when John Pinnette said something side splitting that I wasn't expecting. I busted out laughing (couldn't help it) and the baby burst out in tears having the holy living hooha scared out of him. That struck me as funny so I couldn't stop laughing and the combo of me and the baby not only woke up my poor husband but also the two girls in the next room over who then had to come see what was going on. It took almost an hour to get every one settle back down that night and I now know to NEVER watch stand up comedy while trying to get a baby to sleep.
