I agree, they need to flush it. I know I don't want to be touching someone else's butt pad. Heck I don't really want to touch my own,but I do.

Every time I go to a dirty public restroom I feel disgust. Should there be lessons on using public utilities? I could talk about other disgusting things people do there.

These are pretty clean, it's in my office, and the janitors are on top of things, but there is somebody who doesn't flush their seat liners....

I think it is worse when the problem is at the office. The people working there are supposed to be people like yourself

True, we're pretty much all "professional" people in that building.

I had a shock recently when I push the door of the hospital toilet and saw a woman peeing on the floor instead of the toilet bowl. She did not lock the door which made it easy for me to give it one push unaware that someone was inside. I caught her in action squatting on the toilet floor with her panty down in full view. She quickly slammed the door in front of me. Shocked and embarrassed I quickly ran out of the comfort room to find another toilet. I don't understand why some people lack this civic mindedness.

Umm..Yes. That is equivilent to leaving the toilet unflushed or hanging off the seat of the toilet or any other nasty bathroom habit that people have. We have a public bathroom where I work and it just boggles me how nasty some people can really be. Had a guy (town drunk) come in last week and use the bathroom. He was in there so so long that I forgot he was even in there. When he came out, I was startled. He apologized for startling me and then went on to say that his body doesn't always function as it should and apologized if he made a mess. I was so so so pist! I went in to see what he was talking about and clumps of sht on the floor, on the toilet and somehow even on the freakin wall!!

I have seen ones that have a strip that goes into the bowl so when you flush it drags the entire cover with it which i think is a pretty neat concept. I can steal some from our office and ship them to you if you really want but....

I haven't seen these where I live. If I send you a parrot please can you send some back with the parrot?

Yes they should be flushing them after sitting on them that's gross for someone else to see. At my job I work in a hospital and when i go in the bathrooms sometime people don't even flush and leave nasty stuff in there it's so gross makes me want to puke most of the time. I use toilet paper to cover the seats if I have to sit down to do my business but most of the time I just stand over the seat and go. If I can I try to hold it all day and wait til I get home to go to the bathroom but doesn't always work that way.

After changing children's diapers for so many years, not much grosses me out, and if I have to I will go in and flush and wipe the seat, etc., but it is very inconsiderate.

Yeah. People can and should be flushing those. A few other things I don't like is a string of toilet paper hanging from the inside to the outside of the bowl and when the paper towel dispenser is empty.

Yes and yes. Fortunately I don't run into either of those too often. It's an office, and the people there are fairly considerate, and the janitorial staff is on top of keeping supplies up.

I think public bathrooms are gross anyway and I really try to avoid using them if at all possible. The paper toilet seat covers are so easy to just flick right into the toilet as you turn to flush. Just one more spot where people don't care about others at all.

This is the one at work, and it's not nearly as gross as your typical public restroom (ie mall, airport, etc.), but still...

Yep, but some people don't think of the people who come in afterward.

Yep! And people should also be washing their hands thoroughly and not infect the door handles when leaving the public toilet. Actually, I use tissue to open the door. Then why do some pee on the floor? I have become an expert at peeing from a high place as it were, with great accuracy. And can the toilets be cleaned more freequently too? Oh now you have mne started. I could go on and on about bathroom habits

Well, in Italy, only a few local (at least in my city), there are bathrooms with toilet seats.
I, as you can understand, being a male I do not need.
However, in those few situations I've seen toilets equipped with toilet seats, luckily for me, the ones used were regularly thrown in the trash.

You probably see it more in women's bathrooms.

Eeeeww....that is G-R-O-S-S gross! What are these people thinking of, that those disposable seat covers would magically dispose by themselves? Where are their common senses...their self-dignity?? Tells you a lot about how they were reared and how dirty their toilets may be at their respective homes. Yuck!

It could be worse they could be leaving their business behind and not flushing that either, and I have been in plenty of cubicals/stalls where guys have thought it was funny to dump and go, literally! I am sure you feel better for your rant, it's good to rant!

I see that a lot at more public restrooms. Here at work the people at least more or less try to be respectful. I think they probably walked off thinking it had flushed.

Ew, I never have that happen to me before..Maybe they thought they'd get their own germs on themselves. and I bet they didn't wash their hands either..
