The Philippine government and Filipino people has a very boisterous history of relationship with each other. In which, some cases had made a mark to the watchful eyes of the media internationally.
In history the Philippine Government rulers and the Filipino People has always been bickering with each other. One of the most biggest is the Marcos regime, then followed by Cory's Administration which also has many problems with the people, then there was Erap, then Arroyo. In the current administration there were only petty outcries yet for this administration is still a newborn, but lets just wait, i deduce that there will be bigger outcries when this administration will run for a longer period of time.
the Philippine government rulers and the Filipino people are like water and oil that doesn't blend together, and as always oil always stands at the top. Even though oil was pour in the glass first rather than the water it always tries to pull the water down. metaphorically, the Filipino people being the oil, and the water being the rulers, and just like oil the Filipino people pulls the rulers down.
For me I think this is a problem with the Rulers and the people of this country. the Filipino people, with the slightest dislike of the rulers tries to pull these rulers down. there seems to be a lack of trust between the people and the government.
Now this lack of trust of the people to the government seems to have ill effects of the prosperity of this country. why because first and for most the brains of different administrators differs from each other right?, now what will happen if the administrator then be oust and has a good plan for the country that takes a long span of time? the answer would be it would be cut off or would not be what that administrator foresee it to be. then there goes our chance of prosperity go bye-bye.
Philippines seems to be taking a road of so much detour, we stop then turn right, then stop , then turn left, its a frustrating ride, isn't it, plus it would take us a long time to travel. why not we take road that is straight to a point. In this manner it would only take a short time to travel, and not frustrating.
In conclusion Philippines must have government ruler that has a vision for the country and will seat for a period until that vision can already be grasped, likewise the Filipino people must trust and patriotically help this country, and must not always complain.
What do you think?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. It is very much disappointing to hear this news and i think the situation is getting grimmer and serious with time. I think it is always the responsibility of a Govt to stay firm and see to it that during their tenure they never disappoint the public who are the main reason behind their power.
There has to be a mutual relationship between the public and the Govt, if either of the two fails to compromise then the relationship will definitely fall. The role of the Govt should be to appease each and every citizen of a country.
What say?

thanks!!
yah , i agree with you that the government shall stay firm. but i disagree with you that the govt should appease each and every citizen because i believe in the saying that "no one can ever please anyone". There will always be someone whom the government can never pacify their demands. when you say public it composes of many people with different minds with different ideologies, so how can the government pacify all ?
therefore, i say whatever happens, whatever comments, whatever black propaganda the decision of the government must stand strong, if its for the betterment of this nation.
thanks. :)
