I think some on you have heard of a certain gospel being circulated by New Age and similar groups known as the Aquarian Gospel. It is a controversial gospel because it depicts Christ as behaving like an Indian-style guru and New Age proponent. My advice is that you shun this false gospel. And if anybody tries to argue for its validity, here are some important points you can raise to counter them:
1.) Jesus never went to Lhasa in Tibet. Lhasa was built in 637 AD.
2.) Jesus never went to the Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri, Orissa, in India. Although the temple did exist during His time, it exercised an "Indian Hindus only" admission policy with only one exception: Buddhists and Jains of Indian ancestry. This was only recently relaxed when 3 Balinese Hindus were kicked out. Today, it has a "Hindus only, regardless of race" admission policy.
3.) He also never went to Persepolis. It was destroyed by Alexander the Great in 330 BC.
4.) The author claims that Herod Antipas, who was king of Galilee when Jesus was crucified, was ruling at a time when Herod the Great was king. This is the biggest indicator that the Aquarian Gospel is a fake. Herod the Great was Herod Antipas' father, and Herod Antipas wasn't ruling at the time claimed in the Aquarian Gospel. Note this: Herod the Great died in 4 BC, so how is it possible that Herod Antipas, who was born before 20 BC (BC years are counted backwards: 5 BC, 4 BC, 3 BC, 2 BC, 1 BC, 0 AD, 1 AD, 2 AD, 3 AD, etc.,) could have ruled Galilee during the time mentioned in the Aquarian Gospel?
The Aquarian Gospel is a fake. And remember St. Paul's warning in Galatians 1:6-9 concerning fake gospels.

Well, I agree with you regarding biblical passages. I'm a Catholic myself. But now you know of at least one piece of writing that ought to be discarded. The Aquarian Gospel was written by a guy named Levi Dowling in 1908. He claimed he extracted it from supernatural sources. The fact that it was written in 1908 already makes it look pretty suspicious.
