Dengue Fever is acute febrile illness , its typically caused by Arbovirus and its transmitted to man through Aedes mosquito that's basic information about dengue fever . Dengue fever principally involves Blood vessels , Bone Marrow , Joint and cells of kidney , liver , thymus , spleen and lung. In this disease main parthenogenesis is vascular permeability which resulting in loss of plasma so some time patient status may become critical and develop hypo tension with shock and its called DENGUE SHOCK SYNDROME and some time more sever case also suffering from DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER and its even more dangers .. Dengue fever case suffering from fever and its very high fever joint pain and also rash also appear after 2 to 3 days of illness just because of joint pain involvement its also called BREAK BONE FEVER .. If i talk about laboratory finding then torniqute its value always more then 20 in dengue fever case but diagnosis always made on thrombocytopenia that mean patient platelet count is decease its normal value is 2.5 to 4 lkh but in dengue fever case its down below 1 lkh and osme time even dangers and its down below 20,000 k so always look on platelet count in dengue fever case .. About treatment part there no particular treatment for dengue fever its always symptomatic treatment like for fever and pain but if patient develop dengue shock syndrome then we have to give some saline to maintain patients blood pressure and in sever case we have to give fresh frozen plasma to maintain patients platelet count.. About Complication there are some complication related with dengue fever and its Encephalitis , Acute liver failure , Renal failure and some time DIC also ..
