If Love is Blind....
Then how do you explain love at first sight??

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i have never believed in the idea of love at first sight. It is just an illusion that is shown beautifully on TV screens and it hardly happens with us in reality.
I believe even if love happens at first sight then it happens between a new born baby and his or her mother. Other than that, i do not believe in concept. If love is happening then it should happen in a matured and a sensible way otherwise it wont last long.
What say?

Good point. I would say that I don't believe in love at first sight but that is a very nice example you brought of a mother and her baby.
I don't know about love being blind, but I think that it can blind us to warning signs and negative behavior.

By blind they mean your mind is blind and cant make appropriate decision when in love. Love at first sight refers to the first visual attraction which is superficial and cannot be considered love. Love is not superficial and its not based on looks. Many youngsters in our generation get confused with this term. They think if a person looks good ,is fit etc then only he/she is worthy of love but that is just stupid and not the case.
