Freedom?

Most teens who are 15 think they will be free from the rest of the world and be able to do what they want. But what they don't understand is gas is a lot of money and so is fixing the car. They think driving is a freedom but really it is a expense. What do you think driving is?

I think many teenswant the rights, but don`t want to pay the price for them. It`s up to their parents if they continue to pay for everything. I wouldn`t and I didn`t when my children were that age.

Well I think driving does give freedom, be it for kids or adults.. It does comes with expenses, but one has to set the priorities.. If you love driving too much, then dealing with a little extra expense is always manageable, beacuse a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do right!

Well it is expensive to have children , and the child will not know that until one day when they have children of their own . My country is not so liberated , you cant drive until you are 18 , I wish they change that rule .

Kids at that age are carefree. They clearly do not know responsibility and the precautions of their actions.

Hi, That's the case with most of them and they think they are free to do anything. The expense is not important but the safety of the kid is more important. At that age a kid is not matured and would try driving rash which is a concern of safety.Freedom costs more than gas, there is no doubt ,driving is freedom but not at that age. Happy Myloting!!

I agree with you. They think it is all fun and games until something goes wrong, either with the car or not having money to put gas in the car... I think driving is absolutely an expense. Yes it gets us where we need to go but it costs a lot of money too!
