So What's in your Mind regarding Mylot

As a month member, I skipped those love issues as much as possible now. My first two weeks here had been like a baptism of fire by Valentino. LOL. I got drained and exhausted commenting to love issues. (That I never responded back , somehow frustrating for me) I come back to all the discussions that I posted and one by one patiently responding to the people who commented on my discussion. Even if they commented 2 weeks ago or 2 days ago, as long as they commented. I know how much time and effort each one took to be able to put something there. And I want them to know that I have read and appreciated their thoughts and views. It is my utmost respect for them for whatever they have posted on it. I want them to know that I value their views and their time too. I want topics on life and education, because life is the reality of today and education is what I do for a living. I want to share something to help, enlighten and suggest to parents or to authors who had been having troubles or difficulties engaging to learning, teaching and special education. Though I got some disappointments too if my comments will not be replied on. I also learned something different in these fields, like the Reading Curriculum that I have read in one of the discussions here posted a few weeks ago. Finale... Last but not the least... Mylot has served these for me. 1. Earning, 2. Learning, 3. Motivating, 4. Inspiring, 5. Interesting, 6. Friends Expanding.

Hi! I'm neither a kind of a reader nor a writer but when the topic gets my interest, I get motivated. In all of my posts, I really do try to respond back to others' comment but sometimes not all are being responded because I rarely spend so much time with my computer now-a-days. So usually I just respond to the first that attracts me. In my opinion, every member should at least find time to respond to the discussions he or she have started. Not only because we can earn from it but more importantly, the ideas that we share :)

I think you're right on the money with this. I do the same thing. I do enjoy reading everyones discussions and replies. and I always look to reply to the one that interest me. And I always try and make sure that I have replied to all responses from my discussions.

I'm pretty much the same. I think I spend more time here reading than posting. But I enjoy it...

sriroshan, that is exactly what I do and how I feel. It's good to know there are others who feel the same way. I'm interested in what others have to say, responders as well as discussion authors. Although I don't start discussions I enjoy reading the posts and responses of others. So many different viewpoints to consider and people can present things in a way I never would have thought of. Too many people don't read the responses of others. This leads to redundancy and the poor author must read through the same things over and over again. There have been a few discussions on the subject and 90% of members said they don't read others' responses. It takes time but if a discussion has pages and pages of responses, I go on to something else if I don't have the time. I think this is the one guideline that is constantly broken. Your topic has made me feel glad because others have criticized the rule of reading responses before posting your own. Good topic.

Hi sriroshan. I will be honest. I have no patience at all. I do go through the discussion carefully but I dont read all the comments posted by the other users. Apart from that I am pretty much the same. I also reply back to all the comments and replies that I get for my posts. Anyways have a nice Sunday and keep on mylotting... -=SuperShames=-

I prefer reading what is post here and then share my idea about what i read. Im not good in making articles but i love reading articles and putting comment on it.

I do the same thing. I read others post and if I feel I have something to share or contribute then I won't hesitate to post a sub-comment to their boxes. That's the best way to inter-act and have fun with other mylotters.

Not to be haughty, but I can't contribute to anything other than me ... you show me that maybe I can 'expand my conversation-horizons' (at least on myLot), and join other people's discussion-threads. I don't think I'm gonna do that unless either 1) the thread is already the Best Response (in which case I SHOULDN'T start a new thread) or 2) the discussion makes me curious what other people think & I feel like responding to one of them.

I love to read but I love to write so sometimes I read quickly and then write. take the time equally reading and writing. but the worst for me is that I have a lot of time here but still manage from time to time to write because they still work. but here I am nice and fun if I will always plant to write. nice day!

Many things frankly. Started understanding how can we look at a problem from different angles. The possible solutions . I read the discussion before responding. Otherwise i just don't respond. If i cant read all the responses then i will read at least the first page responses. I like to do it that way. I don't like half work. At times i feel so bad and dull after reading some responses , like one i read yesterday .About a mylotter who is all alone at 64 years of age she only have cats with her and no one else. Hmm i was not able to read any other discussions for some time. I started thinking about life seriously. I cant help it. Mylot does influence our thoughts.

I aslo love my lot, i like putting up new discussions and interesting topics that i am sure everyone will come and response on it... I love when people replying and creating a thread of discussions and make the topic i made alive and make everyone to come, read and write down their opinion and thoughts.. You right that each one of us has own way of thinking and on dealing on every situation and so i still take each and every response a helpful one weather it is a good or bad comment, it still help me to build a nice conversation...:)

Hi friend, good to know that you are interested in reading. I too like reading, but now a days i don't have more time for reading due to my busy schedule. Some times i will read other persons reply while posting in mylot, but most of the time i will read out the topic and place my reply. Always i read all the replies in my topic and place my comments based on it. As you mentioned we will enjoy a lot while reading our replies and come to know about various thoughts and opinion

I am only a month here and really enjoying mylot everyday as I could. In my first two weeks, I had made 23 discussions and all of them got responses and I am so happy for that. For this last two weeks, I focused myself in responsing discussion that interests me. It is so nice to read and know the idea of others and learn some facts too. Mylot is really awesome!

I do have fun reading posts that interest me. I am more inclined to post some advice to those who feel either depressed or lost. Though I am not saying I am a guru, but I just feel like sharing my own personal experiences with them and hopeful can shed some light. I rarely start my own discussion. I just usually make one when I really have the urge to blurt out what I feel about something or someone.

yes, here in mylot, I can share my views with others and response to others. I can know how different perspectives people have. Also, I can learn something new here since there are friends all over the world. have a nice day.
