Right now I'm using a cheap Toshiba laptop. I don't think you would need a macbook pro since they are very expensive, and good for artists. You should really just buy a cheap windows computer from some brand, and then use it to make money online. Then later you could use the money to get a macbook pro, or any computer you want :) It is more like buy cheap now, earn, buy expensive later method :) I hope I atleast helped you a little out here.

Hello, Itpotter
As a student of Information technology, I work with computer systems all day long and get to experiment with different types of brands out there. I personally have nothing against Mac, but I really don't care to pay for a laptop that's more than my TV, cellphone and internet bills put together times three. But hey if that's what your looking to invest into then be my guest. I'll give a few reason's why Macbook pro is a good laptop.
1) It's operating in my opinion is straight forward and almost self explanatory. Its typically made for the user to customize to their own liking.
2) They are less virus prone like windows (not to say they don't get viruses and such but they aren't quick to get one like a windows will)
3) Entertainment. If you're looking something that indulges your entertainment side then Macbook pro is the laptop for you. You can play more than one movie at a time with out it freezing up like it would definitely do on a windows system, store your music and your picutres in an excellent manner.
I personally want a Samsung Series 9 laptop for the battery life and because I am a Samsung fan. But like I said earlier I'm not into paying for laptop that costs more than all my bills combined. So I won't be getting any time soon. So I will stick my compaq that I bought almost two years ago under four hundred dollars.
Laptops have their advantages and disadvantages just like any other piece of technology out there. You have to know what you want and what you're looking for.
