A successful writer is the one who can transform the reading experience and make a difference. Understanding the readers and writer form them requires is of paramount importance. The climax and incidents that leads to it is what it makes a good story. A twist in the story, for example can be liked by some but most of the readers would be against it. For that, do a writer needs psychological approach?

I would, love to be a successful writer, its not the easiest job in the world to be a successful writer I think that you need to be able to conect to the reader, put yourself in that persons shoes and really try and vision what the reader is thinking. I enjoy sites like mylot because here I can write and express myself to other people, I think that writing is a great skill and I'm hoping that a member of mylot will help me to improve my skills

I believe every writer, especially those that aim not just to present facts but those who aim to make a point, always needs a psychological approach. But the reality is that even with that there are those who will always be against it.

I would define being a successful writer a little bit differently. I think if you've been published without having to pay a publisher you are successful. You may not be making lots of money but at least a publisher thought enough of your work to take the chance on you. Anyone can self publish or pay a vanity press to publish them. I'll say if you can make money doing it that route you're successful as well.
