does it cost us anything to hire an agent to promote our movie scripts? i know it is very difficult to get established agency like WMA to be our agent. but what about new agents. they are new to the field. they want to prove to the hollywood that they can be sell the good and profitable scripts. how to find such new agents?

To answer your first question, legitimate agents typically work by commission, they take a percentage of the sales they make for you. So it shouldn't cost you anything to hire one, and I would be wary of agents who want to charge you fees. They either are scam artists or they don't make enough sales to make a living. As for where to find agents who deal in scripts, I think Writers Market has resources for that, and while I don't know any others off the top of my head... I'm sure they exist.

thanks friend for the reply. you are right. Sadly writers market is flooded with millions of writers. the conventional way to get the writer's attention is to win some competition.

That's just the industry. Lots of industries actually, especially in Entertainment and the Arts. It's crowded and it's tough. If you want to make it, you might have to paddle upstream for a very long time before you see any success. Of course, if you don't try at all, you are certain to fail. So taking a look around Writer's Market can't hurt you... there's lots of great tools there.
